Why are we being punished for the original sin? After all, they ate the forbidden fruit, we didn’t. Reason would lead one to say it’s their problem, not ours. Even the bible contradicts itself by claiming in Deuteronomy 24:16, “children shall not be punished for the sins of their fathers.”

Why did Jesus have to die for us?

Please...I'm just trying to understand where people are coming from if they think there are other ways to get to heaven. I don't need the sermon/scripture references. Got those in church this morning.

This just stemed off of someone on the board saying that they're a Christian but don't believe in hell. I don't see how that's possible!

Our next door neighbor is suing us for something we had no control over. We helped her get her car out of her driveway one morning and gave her a jumpstart with ours, then she got a few miles down the road and her car died. She wanted money from us to fix it and we told her we don't feel responsible for her car dying so now she is suing us for $950.15 Can you believe how horrible the world is getting? We got some legal advice and the attorney said we would probably have to end up paying her mechanic's bill since it is her word against ours. I don't know if I will ever help anyone out again. Well I probably will but now you don't know who you can trust anymore. People will sue you for looking at them the wrong way I guess. The only thing keeping me strong about this situation now is God. She is also suing us for a full day's lost wages for that one day even though she ended up getting a ride from somebody else to work, she just got there late.

A dear friend of mine has been going to church, chosen to get baptized; I would say she truly was born again, had a real fever for God. For a while she tried her best to give up all things secular. Now she is "bored" with "all things religious" and thinks she can be a Christian by merely thinking the thought "I believe." She is uncomfortable because "the more religious I am, the more awkward it is to interact with non Christians."

Obviously her views on morality are still Christian, no murder, heaven and hell, follow the 10 commandments, all that. But can a person truly be born again and not desire to praise God? Not want to read the Bible? Not want to raise a family? Not desire fellowship of fellow Christians?

The Bible says that once someone has Jesus they will become a changed person.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m by no means perfect. And I’m not looking for a half assed answer here... please quote scripture.

In a recent exclusive survey, 90 percent of prisoners in America's prison system are christians, and were christians even before they committed the crime. The exuse that they converted after being jailed is also false since they were christians all there lives. The christians lies that non christians are so "immoral" doesnt is also false since most of the prisoners are christians and believe in jesus and the bible which is what classifies a christian according to the goverment and everyone who has a brain about what religion is. Yet christians continue to use there bull story "not a true christian" to excuse what other christians do, which is an excuse for them to pick and choose who's a christian and who's not so there precious religion looks so sweet and innocent.
