It doesnt exactly make sense why they would, cause all of the stereotypes r positive and most of them r generally just charecter traits, so why does society hate/fear gay ppl?

Some do hate , that doesn't only apply to gay people. But most people using pure common sense recognize something wrong with the gay lifestyle and its agenda. I dont deny gay people genuinly feel a strong attraction towards the same sex, thats not the issue. The point to be made is should it be legitimized. What you do in private or if you want to express your feelings your free to do so. But should it be sanctioned? One strong reason that homosexuality is flawed is that without hertos the human race can not reproduce. I say this because if all truely gay people lived on one large island they would die out because of no breeding and possibly illness. Its not so much about fear as is claimed, its about being repulsed by it(as 90% of truely straight men are) and the constant flamboyancy that attempts to feminize men. You give yourself over to being gay because in todays culture its embraced, so what you feel becomes okay. Dont hate anyone, point out truths that are so squashed in our current times.

Actually, I know you don't want to hear this, but religion plays a big part in it for a lot of people. Other than that, people just aren't willing to accept someone that is different from them. I don't agree with the practices just because it's very against my religion, but I can love gay people as God would. A lot of my friends are gay, so I'm used to it. It only bothers me when gays act like everyone is out to get them, so I should be extra nice to them.

I don't hate them but I do know what God says about them. Romans 1: 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Romans 1: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Romans 1: 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

I don't think they do especially, and I don't think they would at all if the Christians would stop their constant defamation and vilification...I don't know what end they are trying to acheive ultimately ...if you think it through it can only be sinister like the extermination of all gays which is what they seem to want ... at least they want all civil rights removed from gays...they obssess over homosexuality for some peculiar reason known only to themselves.
The Pope is becoming increasingly irrational saying nonsense like gay relaitionships eclipse God???Gays are intrinsically evil??? the guy is thoroughly bonkers and dangerous.

If you have ever seen bear back mountain, you would know why.

Being gay, is disgusting. It doesnt take a genius to realize that a penis doesnt go in a bum. That is why gay people are hated. It has nothing to do with God because God loves All sinners. It has to do with gay people being gross. It is the same reason that people hate murderers. it is because what they do is wrong and gross. And counterproductive.

People tend to hate/fear what they don't understand. So maybe all the hoopla is a good thing. The more knowledge......the more understanding.
By the way, there have been societies on the planet that revered and honored homosexuals and bi-sexuals.

It makes them doubt their own sexuality. And not all the stereotypes are good. The idea of the aggressive, recruiting gay man terrifies many straight men, because they don't like the idea of being in the passive, submissive, "female" position in a relationship, the one being pursued. They would have to surrender control in that situation, and that's scary for men who are used to being in charge.

Because religion tells them to. Homosexuality only became frowned upon once the bible/koran/etc forbade it and made it a 'sin'.

Now - religious or not - society tends to despise it as a result of those previously installed beliefs. It's hard to break the habit once something is labelled 'sinful'.

It threatens the established mail controlled social order. Anything of difference is a threat to males. Big crybabies they are. Useless too. Ask any woman.
