The power of forgiveness is more beneficial to the one forgiving than the one who is fogiven. It allows the one who is doing the forgiving to let go of the hurts or anger they feel toward the person they have forgiven, even if the person who is being forgiven doens't know about it.

I have never had a problem forgiving until now with what is going on with our neighbor. What she has done it will probably take years to forgive.

The power of forgiveness is self-relief. If you hold on to injustices of the past, you'll never grow.

Forgiveness is to remember no wrong the hurt [whether it be in your body, heart, or mind] that was inflicted upon you, and treat that person like nothing happened, and not mention it again.

when we hold unforgiveness in our hearts, it is a open door for satan to work in and through us. When we harbor unforgiveness, satan can come in and torment us, he can and will use what was done to us by others, to bring anger, hate, bitterness, revenge, gossip, slander, worthlessness, hopelessness, guilt shame, etc. The power of forgiveness, it releases us from the grip of satan and all that he tries to destroy our hearts with by the actions of those in our lives.
