That's right. Just as the gift was to be pure, so was the giver. Otherwise, people could have put the handicapped on duty with the sacrifices, while the fitter would be off doing more secular jobs.

The alter was sacred and only those God perfected could approach. The handicapped were not perfected. At Christs death the veil was rent and we all have access to Christ and through him the Father.

I have a better questions for you: Why did Jesus heal the man with leprosy? Why did Jesus heal the paralyzed man on the mat? Why did Jesus heal the sick boy about to die whose father was not even a Christian? Why did Jesus heal the invalid at the pool?

"Do you want to be made well?" to a man crippled for 38 years. (John 5:5-6)
...and he was made well. "Pick up your mat and walk."
When we've done as much for a handicapped person, then - and only then - do we get to call God out.

Baloney. Why don't you go find some more out of context quotations and suit them to fit your twisted mentality.

It's not ridiculous to be confused. There are many contradictions in the bible. Think what you will. There are many good books!
