He was probably married to somebody. Most rabbis were and still are -- celebacy has never been an ideal in the Jewish community, because we Jews do not regard sex as something sinful or dirty. Frankly, I don't understand why the idea of Jesus being married freaks Christians out so much. How would this change his teachings? Moses was married and still holy enough to be the vehicle thorugh whom God gave the Commandments. The High Priests of old were married. The Hasidic Rebbes of past and present are married. So what?

No, Jesus was never married, to Mary Magdalene or anyone else. However, this doesn't mean that he couldn't have. It's not a sin to partake in marital sex, or to have a wife. He just wasn't, simple as that.
Also, on the off chance (*wink, wink*) that you got this idea from the DaVinci Code, remember that, like all other works of fiction, the book takes a credible setting (the world as we know it) and tweaks it so that the story can unfold to the imaginings of the author. None of the "historical facts" in the DaVinci Code should be accepted on their own, without actual non-fiction sources outside of the book to back them up.

JESUS was not married. HE was abstinent his entire life. HE was perfect and Holy. So HE could be accepted by GOD as the sacrifice for mankinds' sins. The life of JESUS was documented, and if HE had been married, that would have also been documented.
JESUS mind was on the things of GOD and not self gratification.
If regular men and women can be abstinent/celibate for many years, then why is it difficult to think that the son of GOD, would have difficulty being abstinent?
If you need information on why the da vinci code is false, then watch Trinity Broadcasting Network. Pastors John Hagee , Jack Van Impe and others have covered this subject. They explain in great detail about the dates that are incorrect and the man Plantard that admitted in a French court that he lied.

No, but they had a very long engagement. However, Mary got tired of waiting for Jesus to pop the question and said 'yes' to the first local man to ask for her hand in marriage.
Sadly, that marriage didn't work out well for Mary. As she got a little older her hubby dumped her for a younger trophy wife.
Mary then went into hiding.
But late in life she wrote a tell-all book that became a best-seller, getting rich and becoming well known.
I'm joking, people! Don't take life so seriously!

Yes and they had 4 sons. Herman, Morty, Yussel and Chaim. Herman and Morty followed in thier grandfathers occupation and made some of the best scroll cases in the neighborhood.
Yussel on the other hand studied magic and for years tried to turn one fish into many. He never married as he stunk like pickeled herring. You see, he had to pickle that one fish to make it last for all those years.
Chaim, in a way followed in his Fathers footsteps. He was Gay and was always seen around the village with 12 guys.

A Jew has 613 commandments and the first one is to be fruitful and multiply. Therefore, they married at very early ages and were considered adults upon marriage. (I think some Muslims still become adults upon marriage.)
Not to have been married by age 32 is extremely unlikely and he would have had no followers at all. What could he know of life without a family of his own?

the koran tells the history of ALL prophets and messengers of god. talks about who thier parents were, who they married and who thier offsprings are.
the koran doesnt mention any thing about jesus marrying mary magdalene.
if they were married the koran would have mentioned it!
i personally had doubts about it but i made a research no bible ever mentions it nor the koran.

No He was not, the Da Vinci Code is deceptive in that people think that it is a non-ficitional book. The book is purely fictitious and was always meant to be.

No definitely not. There are many reasons and I don't have the space to give them all, but most biblical scholars agree that he was not married.
