First, you are correct in assuming that God knows the outcome or the destiny of all of His children, for God could NOT be God if He did not know all things beforehand. That is why God is referred to Alpha and Omega - knowing the beginning from the end; and second, you lack full knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, for Jesus Christ voluntarily came to this world to die for your sins and mines also.

If God wanted robots, we would be like toys programmed by God to do only what God desires for us; but instead, God created within us a "FREE WILL" to choose whether or not we desire to serve Him fully or not. God's main message to all, "If you love me, keep my commandments!" Those who keep God's commandments will be saved eternally in the heaven made new.

There are three processes that need to be complete for each believer to be present in the heaven made new: (1) Justification -believing that Jesus died for your sins; and therefore, by repenting of your sins and accepting the fact that Jesus' substitutionary death (by the shedding of His blood) paid the full price for your sins, you have your title to heaven. (Read John 3:16; Romans 5:9; Romans 3:28; Ephesians 2:8-10; and Titus 3:7) You are then called a Christian; (2) Santification - working out your salvation by being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and allowing the Holy spirit to daily guide you in all truth and (YOU) responding in loving obedience to correct all faults the Holy Spirit reveals to you. You correct all faults by praying earnestly to the Father for the Holy Spirit to impart instantly the power of Jesus' Words to overcome all weaknesses in the flesh; and (3) Glorification - the reward of being granted the right to join with Jesus when he comes the second time to take His children to His heavenly home.

Please read these scriptures:
Romans 10:17 - faith cometh by hearing
Acts 16:31, 32 - to believe on the name of Jesus Christ.
Luke 24:47 - repent of your sins.
Luke 12:8 - confess Christ before the world
Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38 - baptism
Matthews 28:19 - you then join with others in teaching the Plan of Salvation so that others like you were at first may come to a full knowledge of how to choose not to be lost.

It all comes down to the individual and his/her choice to either be with God in heaven, or be joined with Satan and his plan for God's children to perish forever off the face of the earth so that NOTHING but GOOD and RIGHTEOUSNESS will exist throughout eternity for SIN and ALL SINNERS (roots, stems and all) will be purified by fire. The earth will be renewed to its original beauty and glory.

Again, YES God knows who will be lost, but His Word declares, ".. Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his/her way and live..." Ezekiel 33:11

Please Note: Why would one desire to die? The sinner's part is to believe, to exercise faith, to repent, to confess Jesus Christ, to live in obedience to ALL of God's Holy Words. God's part is to give you a NEW NATURE. This is what is called the new birth which lead to eternal life with Jesus Christ. (Read John 3:3-8)

Because God wants us to learn from our mistakes and grow from them. If God didn't let us waste our time and make mistakes then how would we have our own testimony to share with others?
It would be so easy for God to say "OK, time to move you into your destiny, no more trials and tests ever." but God loves us so much he wants us to hide away and gain our strength in him so when the day comes for us to fulfill our calling we will be strong enough, willing, and able to succeed!!

I would never want to speak for GOD.....but here's some things to think about maybe. My studies have led me to believe, GOD is eternal......no beginning, no end. Time is a creation and tool of man.
I'm working on "staying in the moment" and I never have a sense of "wasting time".

He doesn't already know the outcome because He gave man free will to choose, therefore, you have to make choices.

He only knows the outcome on the big picture.

Gods were created by people.
Religions were enforced by governments!
Thus, the governors are promoting the lie about after life and existence of god in order to control and separate people into our people and the evil ones!

I do not feel that my life is wasted by any means. I love the Lord, my life is full of joy. I am happy to share the gospel as long I live. Gospel is good news, and the good news is that Jesus loves you.
Repent from your sins, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

God doesn't let us waste our time - that's the Devil creeping in - don't let him in - make good use of your time & God will forgive you if you can't think of something to do at this exact moment - God is very forgiving and IF you love him - HE LOVES YOU.
