But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2Timothy 3:1-5)

They cant occupy the same space! you have to let one take the wheel!
(you know that when we take the wheel we always turn it in the wrong direction! we gotta let God take over!!)

The teachings and beliefs of most religions seem to be relatively the same. You know...serve God, do good...don't do these immoral things. But I was wondering, do you think that different religions serve the same God? And if not, then what makes one religion "right" and all the others "wrong"?

I know, it's an old one. If God was both infinitely compassionate and infinitely powerful, then it would be within his power, and in his interest, to end all suffering. Yet suffering continues and acts of evil are even carried out in his name. Either God isn't all powerful or he isn't all compassionate; he can't be both. Or maybe he just doesn't exist. I don't know, what do you think?

I'm not saying all christians are against computers, but I was reading this cartoon by Chick Publications called "The Beast" and it said that computers and the internet will aid "The Beast" in conquering the world. And today, I was listening to a christian TV show that said that this guy had a huge computer in his house, and the christian neighbor asked "What can you do with it?" or "What is it worth"?....

Do they think computers are going to aid the Beast or are they evil?

A gay man lays dying of thirst in the desert. You arrive on the scene with a full canteen. You tell him that you'll give him some water but only if he changes his evil ways and accept Jesus as his savior.

He tells you that he will change his ways and accept Jesus if you give him water. But you are much smarter than him and you know that he's probably lying.

Do you give him the water or do you leave the sodomite out in the desert to wither away?

Ok, the asker of this linked-question saw an answer to another question stating that "funerals are not a place to protest homosexuality"

Then the asker of this linked-question made a statement-question: "what IS the right place or time to protest homosexuality?" In the language of Sarcasm, that means: people get real, there is NO place, nor time to protest homosexuality". Anybody with an IQ above 37 could have figured that one out!!

yet, reading the first 18 answers, i see 16 people who missed the sarcasm. they all blame the asker of being prejudice against homosexuality.

If people don't understand the question, why bother to answer with all sorts of wrong prejudism???

Witchcraft is witchcraft, no matter how you may want to think of it and it is condemned by God as wrong, an abomination, witches are to be put to death and as Christians, we are not to even go near it.

some people creep me out.

I was asked by my father before he died to always look out for my mother for him. Some irresponsible people took my mother from her own home a stuck her in a nursing home. My mother was capable of taking care of herself. They did it for their own convience. At the nurseing home she woke up the first night and forgot where she was. She had Sundown syndrome, which means she was a friad of the dark. She could not see very well. She felt her way around in the dark and became very frightened. She had a stroke. This was the next day aft6er she was dumped there.
I found out that she was in the hospital dying. Itried to get the hospital to take her to her own home to die. They refuse. My mother died in a place among only a few people she knew. She did not deserve that. She was 100% Christian all my life. I never saw her do a single thing that she thought God would not like.
I got ito trouble for threatening the person who did that to her. I never tried to hurt. I just blew off steam.

Ok, I grew up in church and frankly, it doesn't take a Christian to know that you have to be saved to go to heaven. And to get saved you have to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord. But my question is....before Jesus was born, how did people get "saved"?

I was born into the Methodist denomination of the Christian faith. Sunday school, Choir and Confirmation followed. In my twice or three annual attendance, I enjoy the hymn singing and being well indoctrinated, I can normally say the communion prayers without once looking at the manual. This from a person who has not regularly attended church as an adult. Says a lot for the power of propoganda.

I'm a Christian, and I firmly believe Christianity is true. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me solid PROOF that Christianity is false. I mean, so many people think it's just a bunch of stupid lies, but they don't have any REAL reasons to think that.
