I wouldn't want to break the yahoo guidelines!!!!!

Of..course the answer..is that Muslims are allowed here..

If Muslims were banned it would be discriminatory,...and yahoo could be sued under US law...

And for those who are not sure!!!
Muslim is not a lanuage but a religion..

Arabic is a language...
It is beautiful language and the language of the Quran...
but not all Muslims speak Arabic...The majority of Muslims are from Non Arabic speaking countries...

And not all Arabic speakers are Muslim!!!!!!!
About 10% of Arabs are Non - Muslim..

It certainly is NOT against Yahoo regulations for Muslims or people of any religious persuasion to use Yahoo!Answers (and I know that you asked with your tongue in your cheek, of course)!

I could not find anywhere that said that the Questioner referred to is a Muslim. Moreover, I understand his question to have had nothing to do with religion.

There were several answerers there who clearly breached the Community Guidelines on at least two counts and, accordingly, I took the appropriate action. I would recommend all responsible users of Yahoo!Answers to do the same.

I should point out that it is improper to post questions in Farsi (I hope I am right in identifying the language) on an English-speaking section of Answers, so I hope that Ahmed M has been advised of this. He also miscategorised the question, though I wouldn't have known this unless one respondent had provided a translation.

I would be very interested to know what Yahoo are doing about people who misuse the Abuse Reporting system. I strongly feel that there are some people who are using it indiscriminately to target users to whom they have taken a personal dislike (which it is clearly stated is against the rules).

As the system works at present, it appears that violation reports are either not being acted on at all (in some cases) or being acted on with no consideration for the validity of the report.

I hope that it will not be considered "Chatting" to welcome you back, Tabia, on behalf of many members who have enjoyed your questions and benefited from your answers - I think your Best Answer percentage speaks for itself!

C'mon there's no such thing! Everyone is allowed! In fac, Yahoo is not allowed to ban Muslims or whoever. Unless you're breaking the yahoo rules, you're on. You can refer to the Yahoo community guidelines for mor info.

Using any language other than English is against Yahoo rules.

If somebody tells you that Muslims are banned from here, then they are breaking the rules. They committed an offense.

No, he's wrong. You can't be banned from here for your religious beliefs. You can just get reported for writing in another language.

particular. Mecca is a holy small city, and it oinly has Kaaba and Masjid. they are actually not allowed to Kaaba or Al-Masjid Al-Haram (The Forbidden Mosque) in view that they have a particular place in our concept. different than that, it is okay to pass into any mosque you go with for in any component of the worldwide.

Of course they are! If they are not, I would not chose to be here if my Muslim brothers and sisters were not allowed!
