It is common knowledge that the verses are against "any" and "all" homosexual contact.

People(?) "pride" themselves on throwing that verse (among others "miss"understood verses) when they want to "condemn" "any" and "all" homosexuality. Jerry Falwell types just love these prideful ones.

Do you believe this is what those verses mean?

If you do, are you "aware" of what some of the Biblical and Logical even "Moral" problems there would be in thinking it meant that?

Are you "aware" that there is "always" more to Biblical verses "THAN WHAT MEETS THE EYE"? [INTENTIONALLY done by GOD :--)] ---and that would include ALL verses traditionally used to condemn "any and all" homosexual behavior?

Are you indeed even AWARE?

These people would have had to got here somehow. Since the last ice age would have been the only means for them to cross the Bering strait, how does the bible explain them getting from Mt. Ararat to the Americas.
BTW: The last ice age occurred thousands of years before Noah's boating excursion. Hmmm...

I'm not asking for actual numbers, I'm just curious which group (by religion or belief, non-belief) people think posts the most (by number) insulting questions or answers directed at other groups.

I prefer to withhold my own opinion until the best answer is chosen.

Thanks for your responses.

if any guy now in time said he was the son of god he would be admitted to a hospital....but just because some guy in a book says oh well i knew jesus and he was the son of god dosen't make it true....people wright books all the time that dosen't mean u have to believe them....if you think about it...the only proof of any religion is on paper so why do so many people believe it....there are so many things in the bible that sound like total bull. people make excuses for it too....like "its not meant to be taken litteraly"
but that is just a cop out.

So I have been reading through some questions.. Why do people sterotype Christians. In No way have I ever seen a True Christian go up to someone and literally shove their faith and their belief in Jesus in ANYONE's face. That is wrong. As Christians we are to love and respect others not be rude and cruel to non-believers. Seriously saying that Christians "always shove their beliefs in our face" is wrong. Very Wrong. It is just as saying "Blondes are better" or "I'm older so I am smarter." Stupid.

Will you do this one last compassionate Christian act for many? Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?

It's either yes or no. No buts and ifs.

Don't assume the Big Boss in heaven will get you out of it after making the deal; what you will get is a dance with the devil in Hades for a millenium. And then, as we all know, you will be snuffed out (along with your dancing partner) eventually by the Big G Himself.

God bless.

...even though a frightening number of my friends are "alternative", "new age" and all the rest of it, don't you think that if you have a mission in life it's vital to communicate it? and that means that you have to understand the people you're speaking to before you open your mouth? and being, to some extent, one of them?

This is where the evangelicals HAVE got it right, at least in the preaching I used to hear. I do accept that hippies are not guilty of the terrible crimes laid at the church's door from time to time. But self-righteousness has no place unless the other side is entrenched and clearly wrong. You have to try on the other person's shoes if you possibly can.

And you have to have a laugh. With everyone.

wouldn't it be better to just let people believe what they will? i mean you can tell them about your beliefs and let it go. if they are intrested then thats fine, and if not then why brow beat them? people will believe what they will no matter what and when the end comes then we will find out whos right and wrong. wouldn't this planet be a bit more peaceful if we could all do this? ... what are your thoughts?

Many people will not take time to arrive at the truth of a matter by doing the footwork such as reading and or reasearch but will form their own opinions based on limited or faulty knowledge
