Jesus is the only way to God. Accept him and ask him to forgive you for your sins. It's not about the religion.

OK.
1. IF there is a God, there can be only one. By definition, God (omnipotent) could have no equal.
2. IF God decided that He would allow a way to him. He would probably not allow more than one way, because there would be one easier way that everyone would take and the other ways would be useless, and it would cause confusion.
Nearly all, non-Christian religions allow for other methods of reaching their level of enlightenment (thereby nullifying the reason for THAT religion to exist).
3. As much rhetoric as there is out there, there remains only ONE religious text that has never been proved in error. It is 100% proven when it comes to historical accuracy, geographic history, and prophecies that have been fulfilled.
4. If God is so powerful, that he can create all of creation from absolute nothingness, He would be able to assure his word and the truth of it would continue, despite all of man's and Satan's attempts to obscure and nullify it.
5. The Bible tells us that Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE light. NO man comes to the Father, BUT THROUGH HIM.

There can be no other truth than this, or there is NO truth at all.

As for your dislike for Christians and therefore your dislike of Christianity, That is like saying your favorite food tastes bad because the delivery driver is a jerk.
Or refuse to pay your electric bill because the mailman is mean.
Christians, as well as everyone else, needs God and Christ BECAUSE they are not good and deserve hell.

As for Melissa's answer, Her God controls everything that we do therefor her God also MADE men write the bible and made all people to have their respective beliefs, even atheistic beliefs
HOw is that for a god of confusion? but then there is no confusion, because there is no choice according to her.
Does that make sense?

Christianity is not the only way to God. What is important is the example that you show others in how you live your day to day life. For me organized religion is a wall between myself and the divine. Dont condemn Christians or anyone else for their beliefs or differences. I believe a person spiritually is where they want to be. There is not 1 true religion as most religions claim. Whatever a person does to connect with the divine is just fine. Can you believe you are hearing this from a Witch and a Hoodoo root worker? Some Christians call me evil and I dont mind that. I still love them as I do anyone else. One of Jesus' greatest lessons was tolerance.

No - find god for yourself and you will be much happier. I cannot stand Christianity (it was forced on me by my grandparents as a kid), and have found it to be a religion full of contradictions. The god I believe in does not care if you are Chrisitan or Muslim or Jewish or whatever.

God is perfect and god does not make mistakes. God knows what we are going to do before we do it. Following that logic - what kind of god plans the things you will do in your life then then condems you for doing them? It's RIDICULOUS.

RIDICULOUS!!!

I just had a long discussion about this last night with a friend - was up until 5:30am arguing with him. He made me cry too because he's so hell bent on this idea that people need to be held accountable by god for their actions - I don't understand this because god planned their actions (I don't believe in free will). If that is the case, then I think god should be held accountable for his actions because giving someone a destiny then condemning them for sticking to it is WRONG.

And I'm going to say it again here:

God did not write the bible.
Men wrote the bible.
Not god.
Men.
Men with agendas.

But there are good ideas in there on how to live a happy, peaceful life. It's just too bad that all the political BS had to get stuck in there.

There are some Christians you may not like, but...You Love Jesus, you are a Christian! The church is not the way, works are not the way...

Believing in Jesus, and the Holy Word....Believing that He died on the Cross for you, accepting Him as your Saviour....That will get you into Heaven...If there are some people you know, who are Christians, or proclaim to be, and it's are hard to be around them...Pray for them...God will help you to see them in a different light...

If you are a true christian, you have asked Jesus Christ into your heart, and you are following his teachings. I have no idea what kind of christians you hang around, but no, the only way to God is salvation through Jesus Christ, you have to become a christian in order to get to heaven. Christians can be bad people, but there are also good Christians.

There is no way into heaven exept by him. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Light. Read Romans 10th chapter 9th verse. That is the shortest explaination of your question. I would receamend the New International Version for a more clear version.

I can't tell you that Christianity is the only way to God but I can help you, as someone helped me, a long time ago with the issue: he told me never to allow other people to get in between God and me. It was like the scales fell from my eyes, because I didn't want to be associated with some people who said they were Christian but acted in a manner of which I did not approve.
It's kind of like riding a Harley Davidson: some people really like the bikes but don't wish to be associated with some of the people who ride them. Frankly, it may be even worse with so-called Christians. Only you can decide if others can keep you away of something you want.
As to the truth of Christianity, you have to ask God about that directly. Your association with the truth is a personal relationship between you and God. However, as Paul suggested in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
Don't let other people get in the way of your search for the truth.

If you have accepted Jesus than you have received the Holy Spirit and you ARE a Christian but there are ALLOT of mean BAD, people out there who MAYBE are or ARE ..... BAD Christians.

You do not have to associate yourself with them... but you do have to pray for others and God says in the Bible it is easy to pray for our friends and loved ones... but we MUST pray for our enemies.. and we can only do that with the help from God.

So ask God to help you with the Christians or Non Christians whom you do NOT like, hey, I have to do that ALL the time..
Life is hard man with mean and evil people out there..
But....there are more good than evil...........

Good Luck and God Bless
