I don't believe that I have to go to church to profess my belief in God. There are enough hypocrites there as it is

Yes, but not because it's fun. The main reason to attend church is to participate in the witnessing of the Sacraments.

For Baptism it is of the utmost importance that the person or child being baptized is witnessed for, because it is the responsibility of the people who welcome the new member of the one Church to make sure they continue in their ways.

Matthew 28
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

For Holy Communion, it is important to be reminded that your sins are forgiven and to confess them and then attain forgiveness through the body and blood of Christ, while Baptism has already provided a Christian with the remission of sins, Communion ensures that the member remembers the promise of Baptism and knows that their sons are forgiven and they are saved from sin.

Luke 22
17After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you. 18For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes." 19And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." 20In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Though we were not instructed as to when or how often one should attend church, tradition has made a strong provenance in the modern Church. We know that early Christians attended weekly to participate in the Sacrament of the Altar (Holy Communion) because one can sin quite often in a week and fall away from God rather quickly. We also know they did this on Sunday according to the Word.

Acts 20:7
On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.

Though the reason we meet on Sunday is a continual remembrance of Jesus' Resurection, in other words for a Christian every Sunday is like a little Easter (and a remembrance of Christmas). For we now worship the Lord of the Sabbath and do not worship in accordance with the Sabbath, for Jesus fulfilled the law.

Matthew 12
I tell you that one greater than the temple is here. 7If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' [Hosea 6:6] you would not have condemned the innocent. 8For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."

Hosea 6
6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.

But making church fun should be the goal of every Christian, there may be many different buildings and liturggies and praise, but if people will come to Church then this is so much better than coming to any specific church.

I use to go to the Southern Baptist Church where I grew up.That is, until they started preaching about women and homosexuals. Then I just stopped going.I never knew just how vile and mean a church can be.Thankfully we do have churches that will stand up and say, "Jesus loves you" and doesn't put a "but" in that sentence.

Yes, and church is fun. I've had more fun at church then at any stupid party I've ever been to. But it's more about God then fun.

Church is a tool for religion to exert control over society and I will NOT buy into it. I will not be brainwashed by religion just because the republicans want me to vote republican. Sorry, no dice.
