Not necessarily. If a person reacts to the name of Jesus or cannot declare him as Lord due to some resistance, that could be demon possession. If it's a christian that shows some resistance then it's not possession but demonisation.

Throwing up can mean anything, best check that the person is not simply sick, and if they show any manifestations that are just not ordinary it could be mental illness or they really are demonised or possessed.

The real test is if they react when Jesus' name is mentioned. They may have unnatural strength, speak in a very different voice, show disgust at the name of Jesus, have strange actions when they are afflicated by a demon, but the Jesus' name test is the real test.

As for tongues, no, they are definitely NOT a sure sign of demon possession - if it is of God, the same test applies, the person will be able to declare Jesus as Lord. If it is not of God but of an evil spirit, then the person will not be able to declare Jesus as Lord. Sometimes christians with spiritual discernment (a spiritual gift) can tell what the source of the tongue is.

A lot of conservative christians will believe that tongues are of the devil, or psychologically induced, or the result of peer pressure, etc. but most of the time it isn't - it's real, and of God, and it's in the bible (1 Corinthians 12-14, Acts in various places). A lot of criticism comes from people who haven't really come across it before, or do not operate in it and have no idea what it's really like. It's not their fault, it's just what they've been taught to believe from their church's belief. but an honest look at the bible shows it's for today, for christians to possibly receive, and of the Holy Spirit, God's spirit. And a gift should be received with open arms.

Ask a devout Catholic friend to get some Holy Water and sprinkle it on the suspected demonically possessed person (a Crucifix wouldn't hurt either) then see how the person reacts.

Demonic possession is NO laughing matter. And, yes, speaking in tounges is a sign of demonic possession.

No, it means he didn't listen to his mother, who told him to wait at least 30 minutes after eating before speaking in tongues.

Nope not possessed, maybe a little on the nutty side. But should go see a doctor because you could have a ulcer or something bad.

I don't think this is an appropriate question that even deserves an answer. Ask a real question.
