Or, do you only believe in one or the other: For example, you don't believe in aliens, but you do believe in demons; or, vice versa?
Thanks!

*I ask this because some say it is the fault of Eve while others blame satan. So what's the game here?

*Free will to me is like child play. You know by experience that you wouldn't leave a two year-old child alone in a glassware shop, wouldn't ya? So, what happened to God here? No easy answers please!

If our path is already laid out for us then how does free will work? I really dont have much free choice if God already has a plan for me.

This is the way I see the whole God leaving the tree in the Garden of Eden story. Adam and Eve were naive kids and the tree in the garden wasn't just a gun capable of hurting someone, but it was capable of bringing about the down fall of mankind, which it eventually did. So if I'm responsible for leaving a loaded gun around kids, how does a loving, all knowing God escape reponsibility for what happened with Adam and Eve?

This one is for the followers of all religions and for atheists. You know your God and believe in Him, or if you're an atheist then you know and believe there's no God.

Have you ever wanted God to be different in some way? Have you ever thought while reading Bible, Qran, etc that maybe He should have had a different opinion for something, or acted differently? I think answering this should not be a reason for God's wrath - after all, you accept and love Him completely in all aspects of His existence, just like He accepts you as you are. He would probably want you to be a little better and holier, but he forgives your sins nevertheless. You could want the same and this does not mean you do not love and accept God.

So: have you ever wanted any change in your God? I don't know what it would be. Maybe more tolerance, or more intervention in our daily life, etc.

The same for atheists - would you like to live with God, and what would you like Him to be? No pink spaghetti unicorns, please.

After posting numerous questions in both communities I find it surprising, given the fact that science declares we should have an open mind that.....they are more closed to finding the Truth. They just dismiss thousands of years worth of beliefs for one that changes constantly with each new theory. The Ultimate Truth may never be found, but don't you think we should search? Peace and Love.

People are just like puppets in the hands of God and Satan. God has done a great deal to lead the people to the right path by sending messengers, giving Holy Books, etc. Even though sometimes Satan won over God. Here why should the people be sent to hell???

Does god feel that amputees are never worthy of having their prayers answered? Or could it be that no gods actually exist, and that the only time people get what they pray for is when it would have happened anyway in the natural course of events?

I feel like I've been cheated of getting a job. And now I'm bitter. It's not exactly income that I've earned, and it's a small amount anyway. I know I should not have any excuses, but like I said I'm bitter and life ain't that great financially. So seriously am I really cheating God or am I excused from having to tithe?

I think we are wasting our time quoting scripture to people in this cateroy. We should expand to the homosexual and other categories and try to show people the truth......Who's with me ?

I'm talking 'road to damascus' told you, like a 'booming voice from above' told you...not a 'little voice in my heart' told you.

This is, btw, biblically precedented, albeit Old Testament

My first question was how could someone hear something like that ans still not believe? Not me- people in general. I was trying to make people see that miracles do happen. I guess everyone thought I didn't believe. How could I not? I have been a Christian my whole entire life. Please read my two prior questions if you are reading this and wondering what I am talking about.

The UN did not even find trace amounts of the chemicals necessary to create these weapons when they conducted a thorough investigation in Iraq. And plenty of clear photograpic evidence is available clearly proving that a passenger jet had not hit the Pentagon.

My questions are these:

On what basis do the fundamental Christians base their support of their Born-Again Commander-in Chief? Is it purely that his agenda coinides with yours? Can you trust a man whose lies have cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocents? How does true Christianity figure into Bush's bigger plan

In my Question "is it ok to live in sin if you have accepted Jesus as your saviour" the response was an overwhelming NO NEVER.
Do you christians really follow this? Are there any christians here who have, for whatever reason, lived with their boyfriend/girlfriend?

The evolutionists claim that evolution disproves the christian God, and I am by no means christian, but let me put it like this; evolutionists say that we are evolved from the primordial ooze, muck and dirt. The Bible says that God created man from the dirt in 1 day. But who is to say how long a day is to "God". It could be millions of our years. Our system of time; days, months, and years is completely man made. So if you examine both ideas of the creation of man, both could be correct. What do you think?

I am aware of most Jewish customs and I am curious how you can have your sins forgiven. I know animal sacrifices are not common thesedays and I wonder what has replaced that.

For other people of other faiths, I do respect your faith and I would like to ask as a courtesy to refrain from any bashing or any anti-jewish remarks.

This girl just asked a question about how she could straighten out her life. I told her to realize what needs to change, and work on it in small steps.
The theists, however, just told her to pray and all she could do was accept Jesus and hope for better times. Is that really good advice?
I find it to be really bad myself. I feel that one should take charge of their life instead of hoping/praying that some supernatural deity will change your life.

I understand that people get better- but usually it is over time and with medication. My mom was on her death bed and the Dr.'s had already decided there was nothing more they could do. That afternoon was the same diagnosis from her Dr. and the test revealed the same- that night she was healed and the very next day there was nothing more in her body. That is not remission. That is not the work of your mind.
People don't just go from their "death bed" to not in one night. Tests don't show clear in one night. If your mind could heal you then a lot more people would be getting better. Her brother just died of cancer and he was in remission twice. That was a long jurney to get into remission. I was with him the last week he was alive. This is different. No medication was taken to make her better and no medication would make things disappear over night- much less give her the ability to walk with no problem from one min. to the next. Especially when she couldn't walk for month
