I think we are wasting our time quoting scripture to people in this cateroy. We should expand to the homosexual and other categories and try to show people the truth......Who's with me ?

We should be here also pointing those who are genuinely seeking truth where to find it. No matter if you quote a text and others don't believe just pray that some day it will arose something in them to bring them to Jesus.

I am not, it is not mine, nor yours, no anyone else's place to go around proclaiming what you think is the truth. Why don't you just focus on living your life the right way and stop quoting the Bible in attempts to make other people believe your falsities?!

What is this "we" stuff?

If by planting a seed or speaking life to someone is considered wasting time to you then by all means go and "tick off' whom ever you please. I don't believe that it is the scripture that is turning people off to your responses, but perhaps the way, AND attitude in which it is presented.

LOVE is the only way to win someone over to Jesus...you wern't force fed the scripture...so don't forcefeed anyone else.

People come to R/S for scriptures and such! Gays, atheists, and other cults are reading ur question now. Imagine millions that are reading it and are looking forward to ur next question then you will have the opportunity to share scriptures or whatever floats ur boat!

Well, I am not going to stop you....for two reasons: 1) Your choice. 2) I get the feeling you will turn off a lot of good folks from christianity.

It's your choice. But don't assume that you are speaking for "all christians" if you do. You will be speaking just for yourself. Obtw, don't email me whining that you got suspended. Your choices, your consequences.

This spiritual atheist hath spoken.

You seem really interested in the homosexuality area. Is there a reason for that? Are you just a little bit curious? I bet you want 'the gays' to tell you all the intimite details of their sex lives.

The point of quoting scripture is to back up what we are saying. If they do not want to hear it then they don't have to, but for those whose ears are open I want them to hear God's word.

Keep preaching to the choir and leave the rest of us alone. It's getting so I'm looking forward to the rapture. I think it would be easier to deal with the Anti-Christ than a bunch of holier-than-thou right-wing wackos.

Give it a try, but don't bother quoting your holy book to people who don't believe your holy book, it's rather pointless and annoying. If you want respect for your views, you need to present verifiable facts and reasoned arguments, not unsupported claims from religious mythology.

you'll just make them feel bad about being gay, is that what jesus wants? for you to say your holier than thou because you're not gay? lead by example, respect your fellow human beings and their choices.

also, if the quote illuminates a certain part of christianity, or raises an interesting question, of course everyone will read it and comment.
