This one is for the followers of all religions and for atheists. You know your God and believe in Him, or if you're an atheist then you know and believe there's no God.
Have you ever wanted God to be different in some way? Have you ever thought while reading Bible, Qran, etc that maybe He should have had a different opinion for something, or acted differently? I think answering this should not be a reason for God's wrath - after all, you accept and love Him completely in all aspects of His existence, just like He accepts you as you are. He would probably want you to be a little better and holier, but he forgives your sins nevertheless. You could want the same and this does not mean you do not love and accept God.
So: have you ever wanted any change in your God? I don't know what it would be. Maybe more tolerance, or more intervention in our daily life, etc.
The same for atheists - would you like to live with God, and what would you like Him to be? No pink spaghetti unicorns, please.

God is at his best already. Is He not the topic of most debates? When anything becomes a seriously debated topic, more attention is given to it, and some time or other, clarity has to occur. We take things for granted, however important it is. Mind likes to be pre-occupied with things which pokes at the ego. The sun, moon, mountains, rivers, so many beautiful things which are like miracles in itself do no occupy our mind as much as it really deserves. That being the case, it is good that the creator is remembered one way or other. So God had never been better !

I wouldn't want to change God because I think that he has the world well balanced. I wish that people were more educated and there was more tolerance and people stopped to enjoy the more important things (not working and self but rather family friends and helping) but if all these things came to pass then we would have a society in shambles - no one would work at the mindless jobs, people wouldn't work a lot - they would be enjoying their families and there would be no global competetion. So I think that God's got it pretty well figured out. He knows much more than I do and I trust that!

Get real. A Customizable god is not a god. If it was then GI Joe or Barbie is what you want.
Replace God just be willing him replaced? Thats not anymore possible than my willing you to be Pamela Anderson as a Mennonite woman. Your assumption is based on the idea God is imaginary and therefore can be what you wish. It just doesn't work that way.

Hmmmm....
Interesting question.
OK, for the record, I am not religious, and nor am I an atheist. But to me, God cannot be clearly defined as having certain traits or a personality. The idea of God invokes different emotions, views, in different people.

I never wanted any change in God. I wanted the change in me so that I could be freed of my finite mind and really grasp how incredibly awesome He is. We are so limited in our perceptions and thinking...we are like ants trying to understand humans...there is such a gap.

Regardless of my view of God, he is who he is. My choice is to choose to accept that or not.You can't pick and choose, it is either light or dark. The two cannot exist in the same space at the same time.
Acceptance or rejection is your choice, I pray you choose correctly.

My concept of God is completely fluid. He/it changes to suit the climate of destiny... so, no. I don't put any limits or accountability on God.
