If there is no guiding force outside the drive to survive and reproduce, what confidence can I have that even my own thoughts are not the product of the survival/reproduction drive?

Ex. A caveman has a belief that sabertooth tigers are friendly and that the appropriate display of friendship is to run away and hide. His belief seems to be false, but his behavior would produce survival.

There are many more belief-behavior pairs possible, and it seems to me that if evolution is true and there is no God who is guiding our minds toward truth, then we should remain agnostic about the truth of our beliefs, including the belief that evolution is true.

Thoughts?

He was very active in the Old Testament, no working in mysterious ways there, it was pretty in your face. Where has He been since? Looking at the 20th century and present day, we sure could use Him now.

And where you ended up after reincarnation was either the U.S. ( where you would mostly find yourself at Mc'donalds, Wendys or Burger King) or India (where you would be worshiped and allowed to make cow flaps anywhere on the continent, even in the Taj Mahal) all depending on how well you behaved as a human being. Would you mend your ways?

The word Bible has 5 letters, and Quran only has 4, that is UNDENIABLE PROOF that the Bible is HOLIER THAN THOU! I mean, it's clearly holier than me, my name only has 3 letters.

Right?

Christians Don't hate Jews as Jesus was a Jew but why Muslims?
Christians hate Muslims because they think Muhammad was false prophet, but they don't hate Jews although Jews do not consider Jesus as prophet.
So my dear Christian and Jew brothers, can we dictate our Creator to pick up the prophet of our choice, from our tribe, from our color and race?
I believe prophets are noble persosns who just deliver the message of God, nothing else!!

why is it when i ask my mom detailed questions about stories in the Bible, i.e. what happened to all the dead bodies that were left behind after the flood, why did God kill pregnant women and young children and babies in the flood, does she say 'well, you just have to take the story as a whole, n not try to discect it?' i'm not trying to be sacreligious, or disrespectful, i just have really minute questions. she's always told me that if i have questions, ask, n there's no such thing as a dumb question, so why is she tearing apart my search for answers now?

With all the new popularity in the holy grail and royal bloodline conspiracy theories through books like the DaVinci Code and The Last Templar, what do people actually think of the theory?

Books recently have brought out a lot of things to think about like:
- The truth in the bible
- Jesus' relationship with Mary
- Contradictions between the Bible and the Gnostic Gospels
- The early Church manipulating the truth of Jesus
- The holy grail and its wherabouts

In both Greek and Hebrew the masculine plural can include women, or a woman. For example: if there is only one man and a hundred women, "they" or "their" would be masculine; or if there is one man and one woman "they" or "their" would be masculine.

Since Moses and Elijah appeared with Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration in glorified bodies (which cannot be killed),
these two prophets mentioned in Revelation 11:3-13 must be two individuals born, and alive, on the earth in "the End of the days," which are now.
