I have to agree to a certain extent. We don't have any proof that "Jesus, the devil," etc. exist specifically.
However, if you go outside in nature somewhere and sit and think about the way the weather works, or DNA, or the birth of a child, or love, or......
You'll realize there is no way that it all happened by accident. It's too specialized. Too specific. So there is a higher power out there, of some sort. And if they, he, it, whatever--took the time to set this world and this life all up for us he probably wants us to treat each other well, and probably sees us a lot like children on a journey.
You'll also realize, if you think about it, that there seems to be a "darker, distructive" side. Very well could be an inventor of that too, so be careful who you ally yourself with.
The rest, you have to figure out for yourself.

yes we have
There are two possibilities of we being here. Either we are here by Chance or we have been Created.
What are we made from? Cells. Let us now put aside the question of "how the first cell originated" and ask a much easier question: How did the first protein originate? The theory of evolution has no answer to this question either.
Proteins are made up of molecules, called "amino acids". There are 500-1,000 amino acids in an average protein. The important point is that amino acids have to line up in a certain sequence to form a protein. There are 20 different amino acid types used in living organisms. These amino acids do not combine at random to form proteins. Every protein has a certain amino acid sequence and this sequence must be precisely matched. Even the deficiency or the replacement of a single amino acid renders that protein a useless lump of molecules. For this reason, every amino acid must be just at the right place in the right sequence. The instructions for this sequence are stored in the DNA of the cell and, according to them, the proteins are produced.
The theory of evolution claims that the first proteins formed "by chance". Probabilistic calculations, however, show that this is by no means possible. For instance, the probability of the amino acid sequence of a protein made up of 500 amino acids being in the correct order is 1 in 10^950.
10^950 is an incomprehensible figure formed by placing 950 zeros after 1. In mathematics, a probability smaller than 1 over 1050 is considered to be almost impossible.
Even a single protein cannot form by chance, and there are billions of Protein in human body. and there are billions of people here in this world. Calculation would be [ 10^950 x Number of protein molecules in human body x number of people in the world ever existed ]. Can you imagine this figure. The probability that human life can form by chance is nothing but 0.
Finally, the time necessary for the molecule to form was 10^243 billion years. This was far greater than the supposed age of the universe - only about 2 billion years. It was impossible for the universe to have created itself, and for life to randomly form.
The only answer left is that there is creation, and when there is a creation , there is a CREATOR.
"Say: ‘Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names....‘"
[Al-Qur’an 17:110]
"Say: He is Allah, The One and Only. "Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.
"He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him."
[Quran 112:1-4]

If you read the legends of Mithra and Confusius, you'll easily find where the myth of Jesus was plagiarized from. They are identical almost. For example:
""Mithra, by the way, was born on December 25, of a virgin. His birth was witnessed by shepherds and magicians [magi]. Mithra raised the dead and healed the sick and cast out demons. He returned to heaven at the spring equinox and before doing so had a last supper with his 12 disciples (representing the 12 signs of the zodiac), eating mizd, a piece of bread marked with a cross (an almost universal symbol of the sun).""
Any of that sound familiar?

"Is absence of evidence of God evidence of the absence of God?" No. i imagine you're leaning more desirable into the realm of agnosticism. (atheism and agnosticism aren't to any extent further jointly unique). i'm an Agnostic Atheist. i do not trust in the life of deities, yet i do not totally rule them out, both. i in my opinion, experience that the life of deities is not likely (though available). I also experience that the final public of theistic religions are guy-made, and under no circumstances available. You reported an difficulty of the burden of evidence. it continuously lays on the fellow making the impressive declare. If I were to assert there have been a flying spaghetti monster, you would ask for evidence, and rightly so. There won't be able to be evidence that gods do no longer exist. What you may do is commence from an impartial aspect. The evidence does no longer inevitably help a divine author. Theists often have a tendency to lean that way by way of their upbringing and social ecosystem. you should continuously commence with the question and attempt to discover the reply. you should under no circumstances commence with the reply and attempt to larger healthy the question to it.

Religious ones feel the bible is the law. That's their excuse for everything that comes out of their mouths in regards to spiritual belief. However, those who could care less about the bible and use our own minds go about our daily life as human beings rather than puppets to book also written by man. It's of no use to you to spend your life worrying about your next steps. If you're a person who helps out other people when you can, you're just like a bible reader and Christian and Catholic and all the rest of them. If there's a heaven and a god, you'll make it in no matter your belief, as long as you were a good person while you were alive. Atleast, that's my thoughts. I'm no church enthusiast, and I'm no Christian, nor do I partake in any religious groups. I'm a stand alone human, and that's what I'll be until I die. The Church = mind control.

I'm an agnostic so I agree with you, but WTF is your question.
To the rest of you, have you personally seen "god". NO. He is as real as Santa and the ester bunny (you just never grew out of believing in him), it is nothing more than like Santa, you parents tell you if you don't be good Santa will not bring you a gift. The same thing goes for your "god" you were told that if you don't be "good" and do as "god" says that you will be punished. Now come on, really, do you not see this. Anyway your all going to go to hell anyway because you have all committed some kind of sin, such as premarital sex or lying.
Plus science has proving there is no God that evolution is the key to existence. If "god" first created man then please explain to us dinosaurs, because I would really like to see you explain that one.

The bible is the most tested historical record ever. There is more proof that Jesus is who he claims he is than Caesar. Many non believers tried to disprove it only to be converted themselves.
Too many prophesies fulfilled, too many eye witnesses to the stories, they found the Ark in Turkey, an on and on.
Wanna see God? Go to Alaska. If you think that beauty was created by chance, you're outta your mind.

I am sorry that you felt this way.
Someone ever told me, that you need to experience God. Not to proof that God exist. Just like electricity, you know it is there. You can't see it, you just need to experience it. When you touch it, you know.
We know from experience that computer works because of electricity is driving it. But for those who had never ever seen a TV, or even a electric bulb, he may find it hard to believe it is electricity that runs our computer.
He needs to learn from first stage, power, voltage, current.
As for you, I pray that you experience soon, rather than satan/devil. You will not like it.
Seek and you shall find. Proof God wrong by reading the bible yourselve.
God bless you.

You don't have proof, no, but I have actually seen creatures who control destiny and others who produce evil... They aren't from this world, and it works for me...
However, no. God, Jesus, and the Devil, I don't follow.
