It was God who created the earth. The first couple chapters of Genesis explain that. It took 6 days and on the 7th day he rested.

There is a God who created the earth. How can one know this? Consider these facts:
Entropy is a scientific law that was identified in the last 100 years which states that everything progresses from order to chaos. We see it in every aspect of life and nature. As time goes by things deteriorate. This means that everything had a beginning and will have an ending. Something that has no beginning or ending had to set everything into motion and that was God. Any model of life that omits God requires that entropy not exist, that life and existence naturally become more orderly, but there is not one natural property that works this way.
Additionally consider design. Humans have a natural tendency to worship, history proves this. Life is very sophisticated and advanced. DNA is a complicated digital error correcting code. We see animals that have abilities and systems that complement each other. For example a spider has the ability to spin a sticky web and because of the hair on the spider it can walk on the web without a problem. Evolution will insist that the spider evolved over much time and with many small changes. What happened first, did the web become sticky or did the spider get hair? In either case the spider could not survive without both attributes working together. Life clearly is well beyond the sophistication that can be achieved by random chance.
Finally, the scientific process really is not able to prove the origin of all things. The scientific process is about making a hypothesis, testing that hypothesis and then possibly coming to some sort of conclusion. Until we can observe life spontaneously forming from nothing we cannot scientifically prove that life came from nothing or without a creator.
There is a God and not just any God, a loving and personal God who wants to reveal Himself to you. I encourage you to visit the links and consider this further.

Big Bang was as imaginative as Creation theory. Evolution have too many missing link.
Creation have more evidence than Big Bang, and thus I accepted it.
I am a science student. In my chem, physic & Bio classes, my teachers used to say that we can test the theory, and in ideal condition, the theory stays true.
None of the theory of Big Bang and Evolution can be tested, can how we ever call it a science?
I'm not into picking up all the flaws or to talk about the mission link. However, if you are interested to know more, perhaps you may email to me at mel.greywolf@gmail.com.

they don't. look into your question, you used the note "created" -- which assumes a author. it really is what scientists reject. No, you do not realize evolution, in case you assert "monkey are our cousins" (that that they had be more effective distant than that, as we are apes, no longer monkeys, and our closest family individuals individuals are chimps; besides, it really is not any longer the in undemanding words element scientists say; they have mapped out a exceedingly finished "family individuals tree" for all existence in the international). no human being (yet) is conscious how existence first emerged in the international. There are hypotheses, yet none were shown or often in many cases occurring. once self-replication emerged, the needed idea is that effectual self-replicators succeeded in self-replication or reproduction. for a lengthy time period, those residing issues were very in simple terms in structure. even if the reproduction procedure isn't proper, and for that reason, persons decision. often times a version helps a human being with it to be more effective positive at surviving and reproducing; its off-spring that inherit that trait are also more effective effectual at leaving more effective off-spring. Small transformations assemble over the years, ensuing in a clean species branching off. we are apes, that developed from an previously species of ape, which developed from an previously species of primate, which developed from -- it now seems -- a touch mammal it really is touching on to tree shrews, which had developed from an excellent previously species of vertebrate, etc, decrease back by time to the first chordates. i'm no longer on my own computer, so do not have the urls, yet UC Berkeley has an superb little web site: information Evolution that would help you. UC Berkely also has a large web site: Museum of Palentology it really is a lot more effective comphrensive. There are also innumerable books and documentaries -- even YouTube vids, explaining evolution.

Genesis 1:1 God created the heavens and the earth. (Big bang scientific theory. ) There is no contradiction between big bang, God as revealed by the Holy Scripture within Christian bible, or evolution.

Science gives us the most answers. I'm not knocking of GOD and the 6 day theory, I just believe that there has to be some explaination as to how Earth was created. I believe that all of the thoeries have some truth.

I believe in the big bang and eveolution, although the big bang theory is being challenged by new research, so I am prepared to accept the most plausible theory. The idea of an anthropromorphic god making the world in 7 days strike me as the epitome of implausible.

universe and us are just the compound of chemical reaction. it u noticed the water after some time it got fungus it is form of life with some chemical reaction. if "big bang" is the true phenomena then evolution process starts and all the chemicals of the world combined and d/f species were created. YES God is there but not in form of physical property. It like electricity. its power and feeling.

in what way does the bibles driscption of creation make sense? especially the old testiment.
Science makes sense.
Religion needs some leaps of faith.... like watching 24 or Lost
And as for quoting parts of the bible, that does not make them true, they are still just words.
Don 4:12 And let it be known that small rodents created everything out of droppings and pencils.
Lie 8:9 The heavens shall rejoice that earth was slightly under budget and on time
There you go does that become true now?
