Well, John Scopes actually LOST the trial and was fined the minimum amount possible for his "crime."

But the social damage had already been done, and Clarence Darrow had painted Bryan as a fool. Creationism took a big hit.

God formed the earth in seven days as describe in Genesis. The word create is used only three time.

Evolution is a scientific theory based on facts, The Scopes trail stated that teachers could not teach evolution. This state also pass a law that made pi 3.14 . Obviously the state has no jurisdiction over science, just its residents.

One last point: Evolution (scientific method) verse revelation (God's word as spoken through the prophets) are blown out of proportion. Again in Genesis, the earth became void (how long was that?)

Actually, Scopes was convicted of violating Tennessee's law against teaching evolution. The judge fined him $100. Scope's case was appealed to the Tennessee Supreme Court, which set aside his conviction on a technicality (the judge couldn't legally impose a fine of over $50). Scopes was never retried.

Neither evolution, creation, or God's existence can be proven or disproven. All are matters of faith.
The question is: Which of them has the greater amount of evidence?
If evolution were true, there should be some evidence. The observed and proven 1st and 2nd Laws of Thermodynamics (Constant Energy and Increasing Entropy) virtually make evolution impossible. Of course, I'm referring to macro-evolution (from one species or kind to another) rather than micr-evolution (evolution within a kind or species).
Even though scientists know all the components of "life", they've never been able to create life from non-life. Everything always reproduces "after its kind". It always has and always will, until Christ returns and ushers in the new Heaven and new earth.

Who says he made the earth in seven days as we know them as days? Do you know what the Hebrew word 'day' means, or do you rely soley on the English transliteration? Or perhaps you don't even read the words, just go by hearsay....
