Imagine that that is the choice you have upon dying.

Behind door number one, you may spend eternity in the presence of the Lord - but the Lord alone. There are no other people. Just you and him.

Behind door number two, you may spend eternity with other people - but not in the presence of the Lord. He is absent.

Which door would you choose, and why?

Please note that it's a direct either/or question, so answers such as 'both' or 'neither' aren't acceptable - you can't have your cake and eat it too!

12:4
And his tail drew the tird part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

The stars means Lucifer "become the Dragan Devil" and he and 1/3 of the stars mean angels that become demons right, was cast to the earth from heaven.

Do you get this message as I do? and if know please help me to understand..

12:3
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his head.

I know this is Satan being the Red Dragon, but can you explain what the Heads, horns and crowns mean?

if GOD created the universe and breathed life into creatures..wouldn't it stand to reason that he could have the choice to let the creations evolve to a point..i mean he is GOD right?? i don't understand how this stupid stubborn division came about anyway..can't all of you see that GOD himself is the missing link..stop the petty arguing..neither side is more right than the other..this is simple to me..but i'm sure the blind loyalists will attack me from both sides..open your minds people...

I have been scrolling through religious section of this site and it made me wonder if there is anyone else here that thinks the same way I do regarding religion.

Here is what I believe.

I believe there is a god and that god is a single being.i.e I do not believe in the trinity.

I believe that christianity, judaism and islam have the same origin.

I do not however believe in organised religion, that is to say I will not say I am a christian, a jew or a muslim. It is my contention that in following organised religion many have been distracted from the truth.

Instead I have chosen to read the texts which exist and to form my own opinion . I have also chozen to worship in the way I see fit as is ascribed by the texts which through my own understanding appear to be the truth.

As a result I do not feel I have the right to judge others (though at times I do for I am a product of societies norms).

In accoradance with these beliefs I do not believe in the death penalty.

Critiques?

I'm a christian, and read the bible enough to have a fair knowledge of Christianity. But as I study it more and more I find one thing I can't get the answer to, what is the unforgivable sin? I've asked around but no one can seem to give me and solid, biblical evidence of what it is. It worries me some because my youth leaders believe that it is knowing something is wrong but doing it several times any way. This I do not agree with personally because it insinuates that there is an end to the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, that eventually God will stop forgiving you if you mess up again and again. If you answer and could give me some good evidence I would be very grateful.

1) Evolution and Creationism are 2 opposite ideas. Yet, in schools only evolution is being taught; creationism is banned. Is this fair?

2) Many agree to same sex marriage. To be fair should incestous marriage--between mother and son for example--be allowed? What about marriage between man and beast? (By the way these practices are condemned by the bible. How come some have found clever ways to do away with God's words?

There can be no evil if there was no good, and vice versa.
Therefore ,even the least "educated" of all atheists can conclude that there can be no satan without GOD.
so, by acknowledging satan , ur also acknowledging GOD.
I ask u , are u truly an atheist ?
Or are u just bitter against GOD because of the perils that life serves up to us , which we all are forced to endure ?

I think that we should be open minded. It's all about serving God. Hay, i am a christian but i never saw in the bible seeing that jesus said that "you MUST" call your self a christian to enter heaven. Jesus is all about equality and justice, I thought. Isn't that what muslims believe also. I am not trying to offend anyone, but there is some false hood in the bible. These books have been tampered by men, that's why we have some many translations. Let me say, YES, I believe in Jesus and his teachings, and I believe in GOD. When can we stop and think things over, and stop saying that they are wrong for what they believe, only then can we find the truth. I have christian, muslim, seven day adventists as friends, and we have different views, but we can come together to say that there is one God. This is only my opinion about some things, what is your opinion?

To all who believe God there is hope of living forever.

What is eternal life going to be like? What specific scriptural insights give us a peek at what God's eternal kingdom will be like?

Please be specific and give chapter and verse to support your answer.

the bible says animals were created by god as they are now, sothere is no possible way that an alligator can be related to a crocodile, right? its almost as absurd as saying a zebra is related to a horse, or a caribou is related to a moose. are mice and rats related? but what about dinosaur bones? those must be the work of Satan and his minions, right?
