I was baptized at 12, but never really "walked the talk" until the last several years. Should I get rebaptized or does the first one count? Reason, when you are baptized, you are remitting sin, but my motivation wasn't really my seeking Christ, but more so pressure from family.

She is actually a licensed massage therapist and she does this once a month to raise money and asks for donations. Last Saturday, I went and we went into the pastors office where she had this table and she gave me a full body massage. We were at it for about a half an hour and she was really getting in and massaging my sore muscles very deep. I was kind of moaning with the pain and then she asked me if I wanted a "happy ending". I didn't know what she was talking about and so I said no. Now that question is really bugging me. What is that supposed to mean? Should I say something to her or the pastor?

I've been reading about it on the internet, but I can't make heads or tails of it.

I mean, is a Catholic to understand that whatever the Pope says is:

a) the word of God?
b) inspired by God?
c) inarguably true?

Please don't cut-and-paste from Wikipedia or any other source as that's what I've been reading and don't understand...

Many atheists and evolutionists have difficulty with the creation story since many christians say the earth is only 6000 years old. This is not rue according to the Bible. It is really millions of years old and there was a civilization that predated Adam and Eve. The book of Job mentions the dinosaurs also.in its original hebrew text. The scriptures give clear account of the earth not being created at the time of Adam and Eve but the language rather says it was being " refurbished " as one would a piece of old furniture. It and its pre adamic race and creatures had been destroyed before Adam and Eve.by a cataclysmic event. Hence ur dinosaurs and ancient pples...cavemen...etc.

If god is all powerful then he is a monster, because he refuses to put an end to evil. If god is all merciful then he is weak just like me, because he is powerless to stop evil. God cant be all powerful and all merciful at the same time. I believe in a God who is all merciful and powerless.
Does this image of my god make sense to you all?

My yahoo instant messenger address is on my Q&A page if you want it. Oh and don't question my beliefs as that isn't what I'm asking and so isn't relevant. And don't quote from the bible as it is just a book and it can't be proven to be anything more than a story book.

Irish bank robbers

A group of Irish gangsters are sitting around deliberating over methods they will employ in robbing a bank.

After a lot of thought, they all agree on the way to go about it.

In the wee hours of the following morning they meet and embark on their plans to get rich.

Once inside the bank, efforts at disabling the internal security system get under way immediately.

The Irish, expecting to find one or two huge safes filled with cash and valuables, are more than surprised to see hundreds of smaller safes scattered strategically throughout the bank.

The first safe's combination is cracked and inside the Irish find only a bowl of vanilla pudding.

'Well,' says one Irish to another, 'at least we get a bit to eat.'

They open up the second safe and it also contains nothing but vanilla pudding and the process continues until all the safes are opened and there is not one dollar, a diamond, or an ounce of gold to be found.

How scary is it that fundamentalist christians are specifically targetting politics to advance their aims - when does Christian fundamentalism become as scary as Islamic fundamentalism. (if nothing else it has access to the biggest economy/army/nuclear arsenal in the world.
