Does a large following dictate a religion? A similar question was asked very recently, forgive the repetition.

Does anybody have the right to justify their "believing" in something to ridicule others beliefs?

it means to be saved. How come people dispute each other in what it means to be saved? I know people who are not Christian, and have never been saved as such, but lead a good, long and healthy and prosperous life, without even knowing what it means to be saved. These people started out with very little, but today they are well respected, relatively wealthy, charity-bound, and not really materialistic people even though they have money (I guess how they use their money is what matters). They definately have committed sins (depends on your idea of sin I suppose), yet they die happily and with dignity. Yet they have never heard of what it means to be saved. So I wonder, really, what it means to be saved and why it seems to apply to some and not to others (I am talking of Christians and non-Christians). Pls dont mistake my questions, I ask to understand only.

I thought it was just a made up religion that was basically whatever Jim Darwin believed in, and people who are like-minded. But seeing as how it is mentioned in a wikipedia article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo_Answers I thought maybe I was missing something. So what exactly IS Jim Darwinism?

I just don't hear Muslims being ashamed of the brutality of their religious criminals. If so, are they just trying to stay alive. It seems more than that. They seem to believe that they have the right to other people's countries (and the right to practice freely their religion in other countries), but other people of the world do not have similar rights in Muslim lands. Is this fair?

She is a born again Christian and has been in a relationship with a lifetime Christian guy for about 4 months. Already they are planning their wedding for next Feb. She has had sex before and he has not. He is a nice guy but it seems like there are major control issues in their relationship. She wants him to leave his church because she won't leave hers and he is dictating who she should have in her bridal party. It just doesn't seem like a healthy balance. I have expressed my concerns earlier but don't want to stick my nose in too far. They seem to be rushing mainly due to the no sex before marriage issue but the consequence of not getting to know him better may end in a miserable marriage or divorce which would mean getting kicked out of her church. I am happy for her but I worry she's rushing for the wrong reasons. Any thoughts?

It mentions him, which I found to be peculiar! Hey, why doesn't it mention me?! It should mention Sinthyia, seeing as how she has so many best answers. And there are people in other sections that have even more than her. I don't get it. Why does Jim Darwin get to be mentioned? Pout, pout, pout.

Has anyone ever asked about somone else's religion from their stand point? (i.e. have you asked a jewish person about the jewish faith, or a christian person about christianity?) I have done this and it has been very helpful to get many views on the same religion. Has anyone done the same, and if not have you considered it?

Please do not use this question for bashing Muslims.

When do Muslim girls have to start covering their heads? Is it based on a certain age, or does it have to do more with the girl's physical development?
