I feel it is the best way to reach truth, if we are convinced that our mind is more logical oriented/inclined, else the unconvinced mind can never fully accept any truth !

We should question everything...but do so in a respectful manner befitting a follower of Christ and do so in the proper manner. IOW do some work and study on your own...pray about what is being taught and said...ask the giver of all truth...to either help you understand what is being said or to help you to ask the proper questions to get a good answer. It is only when all parties are respecting each other can true understanding of any kind be found. Who knows maybe you can teach that person a few things.

Hope it helps.

A good question to ask them is; What is in this for me? If they offer you anything that is not of this world, they are con men playing you like a fiddle.

Things like everlasting life, salvation, etc. These things don't exist, so they are asking you to give them valuable things like your life and all that you accomplish with it for imaginary values.

This is foul and disgusting and people buy it up like crazy. Are we all that crazy?

To me the reason for questioning is to gain wisdom and perhaps even shed a bit of your God given wisdom to the religious leaders.
