I was just curious, as messed up as the world is and how mankind is inhumane and unloving, is the end near? I believe it is and I think every human being should just be good and kind to each other. God's wrath will come down on mankind for his evil ways.

9 of the 10 countries in the world with the lowest literacy rates are nations with a majority of Muslims. It's kind of ironic that so many Muslims call everyone else "ignorant" when apparently, ignorance is bliss in Islam. The situation is especially bad with women. Even in countries like Saudi Arabia which have the means to educate their women, literacy among the female population is pathetic. Do Muslim men believe women are simply baby factories for manufacturing the next generation of suicide bombers ?

They've been the most powerful political force since the founding of the country. Even today, they probably continue to be. I've never heared about physical attacks. Or job discrimination against Christians. We pay taxes so people can send their kids to government subsidised Christian schools. Not so in any other tradition.

Please educate me. In exactly what area are these people being persecuted?

I was checking out the bible after seeing a show on it on Penn and Teller: Bullshit, and another documentart on the real first woman in the bible. In Exodus 1:27 it says "So God created man in his own image of God, Hecreatedhim; Man and Woman he created them" then on Exodus 2:20 - 23 it says 2:20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the sir and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. 21: And lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam and he slept, and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place. 22: then the rib which the lord god had taken he made women\\an and he brought her to theman. 23: And Adam said "This is now my flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man"
Now I'm perplexed by this either there were two authors to these first two chapters of the bible or there were two women, the first being Lilith, the woman mentioned in the documentary I saw. Your thoughts?

I thought I read somewhere in the NT a passage like"Let him (who has ears to hear) or (eyes to see)"...and then referring back to the old testament in reference to a passage...something including the "desolation" of the ________. I hope you can understand. I'm looking for both passages and then the meaning implied (reason) for the mark of the beast being 666. TY

Listen, I'm a Muslim. I respect everyone's beliefs and I would never call Jesus Christ or any other religious figure a derogatory name. If you do not believe in Allah or Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), you do not need to call him such ignorant comments. Respect our beliefs, as we respect yours. And please try to learn the truth about Islam from fellow Muslims on this website instead of spreading your lies and hate. I am not forcing you to convert or preaching, I'm just trying to correct all the false malicious comments posted on this website about Islam. Anyone who posts Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a pedophile/rapist knows nothing about his life, knows about the era and what was deemed acceptable back then, and knows nothing about this peaceful religion. They are only showing their ignorance and hatred, which, not matter what you believe, will land you in hell one day.

then why do many catholics continue to believe in the devil? This surmon took place on July 28, 1999. He said that the devil was just symbolical for the feeling of being separated and disconnected from God....that it was the suffering and total isolation of not knowing that you are with God.

The average Christian cheats on his income tax, lies and deceives his wife, and while an atheist may do these things, he either gets caught less often, or leads a more exemplary life. Of what value is the Christian's religion, if his conduct is below that of the unbeliever?

In the United States, we see certain religions attempting to influence the government to make (or keep) "sinful" things illegal. If god gave us freewill, then why are religions trying to restrict it? It seems like religions are trying to stop their god's will.

One last question: Do you think when you get to heaven, God is going to ask you...

A. "Did you accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior?"
or
B. "How many people did you love and help during your life on earth?"

I used to believe the answer was "A", but now, after a lot of searching, reasoning and thinking, I believe the answer is "B". I'm willing to bet my immortal soul on it. Are you up for doing that?

for those who've turned from the Christian faith ~ or don't practice it anymore (whatever...)

Do you think that "true Christians" should be loyal to God (Jesus)?

or to a specific denomination/Group of Believers?

*** I'm a Christian, and I'm affiliated with a denomination; which I support whole-heartedly...however, my loyalty isn't to the denomination. It is to God.****

Also, my Christian faith has nothing to do with what I see the next Christian do...I will be held accountable for what I do; not my brother or sister in Christ --- Therefor, what right would I have to turn my back on God?(because of something they did/do?)

(I guess I'm asking: How can someone turn their back on God, and use the excuse that a specific church/denomination/group of other Christian people are responsible for causing them to do it?)
