I was just curious, as messed up as the world is and how mankind is inhumane and unloving, is the end near? I believe it is and I think every human being should just be good and kind to each other. God's wrath will come down on mankind for his evil ways.

Isn't it very dishonest just to be kind because the world is coming to an end, and God may act like a maniac instead of a kind God?

Do you really think God will admire you, when he sees you are just being good to get something out of it?

If you want to be good, do it, but not because you are afraid that God will return soon. That is cowardly, and insane.

I agree with you that the end is near and I believe we will see Jesus soon and I'm so excited about it. The signs that are spoken of in the 'Word' are materializing all around us daily, momentarily, and my entire focus is to make sure everything in my life is in 'Divine Order'. The inhumanity and injustice of man today is so horrible but love shall overcome it and we must have faith and strive to uphold righteousness for God's sake. There is no greater love than that our Father has for us.

According to the New Testament, Jesus will be returning (and the world will be ending) during the very lifetime of some of the folks he talks to in various tales. Just look around for some really, really old people!

I also think that we are living in the end times. I think Jesus is coming back soon. My preacher teaches us this from his study of the Bible. Many of the terrible things of the end times are happening right now. I don't know when Jesus will return - no one does, but I believe it will be soon....)(

Jesus claimed:

"This generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place" (Matthew 24:34, Luke 21:32)[1].

("these things" being the end times)

"Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom" (Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27).

Jesus isn't coming back, he's dead.

I think the end is near too. I don't know why but I think there is too much evil in the world. I hate to say it and i wish i didn't have to and i really don't mind people slating me for being so pesimistic. I wish i could believe the world is a nice place to live in, it's still beautiful but there aren't enough nice people in my experience.

No. Gods are imaginary. If a character called Jesus ever existed at all, who provided the catalyst for Christianity, then he's certainly been dead for the last two millenia or so.

I would be shocked if Jesus didn't come back very soon. There is no reason it couldn't be this year, but it could be 5 years. He is coming back for those who are looking for his return.

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?
Jesus? Christianity? .

Your opinions only, no parroting or C&P from a Bible.

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

I don't have an opinion either way...but for people saying "my paston told me the bible said it is near" Religion has been teaching that for 100's of years...I remember my great grandma told me her mother said the same thing...her church taught her that the end is near...the end is always near according to the Church.
