Do people get satisfaction calling Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) a pedophile?

Listen, I'm a Muslim. I respect everyone's beliefs and I would never call Jesus Christ or any other religious figure a derogatory name. If you do not believe in Allah or Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), you do not need to call him such ignorant comments. Respect our beliefs, as we respect yours. And please try to learn the truth about Islam from fellow Muslims on this website instead of spreading your lies and hate. I am not forcing you to convert or preaching, I'm just trying to correct all the false malicious comments posted on this website about Islam. Anyone who posts Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a pedophile/rapist knows nothing about his life, knows about the era and what was deemed acceptable back then, and knows nothing about this peaceful religion. They are only showing their ignorance and hatred, which, not matter what you believe, will land you in hell one day.

Times are different people. It was morally acceptable to marry girls at a young age all over the world back then (china...arabia...india). And she was not 6 because he married her when she was mature.

No one answered my question...does it give you satisfaction knowing your degrading another persons beliefs?

The majority of people I have come across on the internet are racist. I had no idea there are so many people that are full of hatred and that actually believe all the stupid propaganda filled in the media and by morons that lie.
I think most of the people that spread the hatred and racism are clearly dumb and have no education, because they have not learnt to think logically and look at all the facts before they make a final judgement. This is why education is so important. I think a lot of people are also scared that the religion is right so they slate it as much as they can to "save" themselves from it.

I am sorry but accepting a 8 or 9 year old as a wife sorta speaks for itself. He was a man, and as such he had faults and sins. Islam does not teach that he was without sin or blameless, they claim he was a prophet ( not that I accept it, but this thier claim)

So a prophet if Muslim or Christian have never been prefect often far from it.

It is only in Christ that someone was perfect and sinless, even his virgin birth is reconised within the Quran.

also I will say that often marriages to multiple wifes in old customs were done to make peace amoung nations, even as gifts from one nation to another.

I would say that since he did not have a dozen 8 year old wifes he was not a pedophile but merely a countries leader and a man. I had a book that explained where all of his wives came from, nation and reason, but it is not available, but most were local reasons for a person of his time and position.

Ok, according to the United States DSM IV, which is medically recognize worldwide...

I have not read the Koran (so I don't know what it says of his 9yr old wife), nor do I get satisfaction by calling him a pedophile. I don't know whether or not he was a pedophile. If he had sex with a pre-pubescent girl then he was a pedophile. I don't think taking her as a wife at age 9 necessarily means he was having sex with her at that time. I may be wrong, who knows...

It is all written down in your own book what he did and no man of God sleeps with little girls, let along no people in contact with God would ever allow a 6 year old to marry. Let alone marry some old guy who should not be having erotic thought about little children.

People who calls the prophet (saw) pedophile are very dumb people because they don't know the meaning of pedophile. Technically, it means a person who get sexual satisfactions only from children, and that's definitely not the prophet (saw)bcoz he had other wives too, mostly widows and very mature women. Well, in ISLAM, plurality of wives was limited up to four, but only one if the man fears if he can't deal with them JUSTLY. Age for marrying was allowed as early as possible to both sexes when they reach puberty so that unlawful sexual affairs are avoided.There are laws with whom one can marry and cannot marry and have sex with.Women have rights as equal as men, and men is above them only by a DEGREE!!!!!!!!!! not DEGREES !!!!!!!!! Women has the priveledge to choose and propose to marry a mate of their choice just like men. Who is Muhammad?

The last and final prophet that God sent to humanity was the Prophet Muhammad.

Muhammad explained, interpreted and lived the teachings of Islaam.

The Prophet Muhammad is the greatest of all prophets for many reasons, but mainly because the results of his mission have brought more people into the pure belief in One God than any other prophet.

Even though other religious communities claimed to believe in One God, over time they had corrupted their beliefs by taking their prophets and saints as intercessors with Almighty God.

Some religions believe their prophets to be manifestations of God, "God Incarnate" or the "Son of God". All of these false ideas lead to the creature being worshipped instead of the Creator, which contributed to the idolatrous practice of believing that Almighty God can be approached through intermediaries. In order to guard against these falsehoods, the Prophet Muhammad always emphasised that he was only a human-being tasked with the preaching of God's message. He taught Muslims to refer to him as "the Messenger of God and His Slave".

To Muslims, Muhammad is the supreme example for all people - he was the exemplary prophet, statesman, military leader, ruler, teacher, neighbour, husband, father and friend. Unlike other prophets and messengers, the Prophet Muhammad lived in the full light of history. Muslims don't need to have "faith" that he existed and that his teachings are preserved - they know it to be a fact. Even when his followers only numbered a few dozen, Almighty God informed Muhammad that he had be sent as a mercy to all of mankind. Because people had distorted or forgotten God's messages, God took it upon Himself to protect the message revealed to Muhammad. This was because Almighty God promised not to send another messenger after him.

Since all of God's messengers have preached the message of Islaam - i.e. submission to the will of God and the worship of God alone - Muhammad is actually the last prophet of Islaam, not the first.

I think most of your views are right even I'm not a muslim. People have to respect others beliefs and unique individualism. Its 21st century, and if someone can't accept & enjoy diversity of religions and cultures, there's no place for you to go more.
I don't want someone to accept and believe another religion because its don't need, & no point for that. Only need for a person is faith in his religion & his god. But its enough!! There's no point for insulting others. But I know people who have faith in their religion never accuse others because they also respect faith and beliefs of others.
In some ways, I want to tell to those who narrow minded that "If you think you are not broard-minded or not liberal enough to enjoy diversity, Or if you have doubts in your own religon and don't independence enough to change, "Never try to study religions of others" , "Don't even think about What are their principles? and How they perform prayer?" Because their doubts in their faith lead them to stupidness and insecure, And their narrow-minded and lack of freedom can't find new faith and can't study openly. So, they started to accuse others and insult the beliefs of others.
Thus why, I advise these people to study their own religion first and don't study others before they have confidence and faith upon themselves and their god.
