There are people who make comments about Islam knowing a little of it. If someone wants to comment about something he should know it properly before make a comment.

I agree with you totally. But to answer your question seriously ... Muslims have been in the U.S. for some time. But, because they minded their own business, worked hard, didn't evangelize, and basically just lived quiet peaceful lives (just as their religion teaches them to) no one noticed them much or paid that much attention. Then came 9-11. Islamic terrorists. Because of the actions of a handful of mislead fundamentalist fanatics people who new nothing of Islam judged ALL Muslims based on that. Now, good people, good Muslims, suffer the political and cultural fall-out brought about by 9-11. So now some folks have a new scape goat. Communist Russia fell. The news media and the politicians and the religious right (another group of fundamentalist fanatics) needed another villain. Currently its Islam and Muslims. They use the hate and bigotry they stir up to keep people occupied. That way folks don't raise a fuss about REAL issues. The environment, health care, etc. Its easier to bash others in ignorance than it is to honestly think and work on REAL issues. Know what I mean? ~ Peace & Blessings ~

For the very same reason that the more extreme muslim's either through arrogance, ignorance or intolerance, condemn non-believers... but, do not be offended by such things because often, by making such comments, people may be showing their ignorance but they are opening the topic for discussion and presenting an opportunity for education.
You could say " Actually you're wrong about that..."and gently give them the correct information then walk away if it seems that they deep down they don't want to listen and just want to carry on being a bigot
Belief is a personal thing, and for many, any contradiction makes the uncomfortable in their own hearts. Be prepared not to have your words accepted, but understand that unless they are given the opportunity to open their minds, things aren't going to change.

I disagree with some answers given here.

Islam isn't against Christanity. It is against hypocricy, which is followed by 50% christians. Islam is a holy religion, just like Christanity.

But. The problem is ignorance. People dont know anything and comment on anything. This is also forbidden in all religions, ie, to speak false things.

Islam is so holy that It doesn't even comment against direction of worship. It is written in Quran that God belongs to all directions, so you have no compultion to pray facing east or west.

Further, Islam shows great regards to Christ, Moses and other prophets.

Yes, very good question, and I agree 100% with your comments!
However it works both ways, most Muslims will tell you they are not 'experts' on their religion and to find answers to all questions relating to the Koran you should approach a 'scholar' on the subject, that seems fair comment to me!!
On the other hand I have yet to see the same response from a Christian , they all seem to have an infinite knowledge of their own religion, when in actual fact they know next to nothing about their own religion!!
I admit I am an atheist , but before I reached that conclusion I made it my business to learn what a load of BS all religions are!!

So called Muslims too make ill-informed comments about Hinduism and other religions.

This juggling for supermacy is going on all the time - accept it - you might even learn something on the odd occassion.

If Islam was without it's dogmas then how do you explain the completely irrational behaviour of so called muslim pilgrims hurling stones at a stone pillar and crushing others to death in stampedes - hardly muslim behaviour?

I understand what you are saying, but religion is a private matter and should not be forced upon anyone. I do not mean this just of the Islamic religion but of all religions. I believe that people who throw accusations at any religion are wrong, as you get a minority in all religions who want to be destroying and desecrating other faiths, and people in general then tar every person from that faith with the same brush. My advice to anyone who has experienced this kind of hatred is to rise above them and turn the other cheek,

Islam only ????

All those who are abusing other religions..have no knowledge about those religions.

More over people are using logics to prove others beliefs wrong..... now logics can not work with belief and belief dont need logics

Better be a good muslim...avoiding hatered, terror in the name of religion and be firm in yr belief with honesty. That z what God /Allah wants us to do

According to 1 John 2:22, islam is anti-Christ, and allah can not be God. That is enough to condemn islam out of the mouths of muslims who deny that Jesus is the Son of God.

This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm

Because the Qoran is usually in Arabic and most of the people who make the comments do not understand Arabic.
