If you fly often, you know that the airlines are having real problem with keeping prices down, maintaining safety and providing good customer service. Personally, I think a nationalized air line would solve those problems and create more efficiency. Right now, you might have 4 or 5 airlines all with flights from New York to Los Angeles, all leaving with an hour. Each flight is probably half full. The increased number of planes detracts from safety and customer service, and flight delays are common. A single airline, in this case a govt run airline, would make for few flights with more passengers on each flight--so there would be fewer planes in the air, with more passengers on each plane. So, you'd have increased safety and also lower costs.

State-run monopolies currently exist for fire, police, sewer/water and other essential services. I think the airlines are another industry which would benefit, and whose customers would benefit, from a monopoly--with strict federal guidelines.

Why do white people always asks why they can’t use the N-word, with the -igga. To me, as an African-American, it is a stupid question to ask. When we all know it has a lot to do with slavery, and that’s what white people use to call black people, with the -igger? Do people tend to forget about slavery when this issue comes up?

I believe there are different levels of confidence.

I used to have confidence that was dependent on my success on everything, and people's validations when I was in my teenage years, but a few days ago, I think I had some sort of enlightenment.
I believe that I am a lucky man since I'm 20 years old and have already developed a confidence that is based on my outlook in life. I started to see through peoples insecurities, and how they are so wrapped about what other people think about them that they forgot that it doesn't ******* matter.
You're world is what you make it to be. Its amazing as to how people sitting side by side in the same room can perceive a totally different experience.
I do hope this inspires some people to be much see themselves as complete humans who can carry out an intelligent conversation without trying to be funny or cool.
Its very ******' hard nowadays to find an intelligent person with such qualities.

why are so many people here just completely rude and arrogant. i treat people well until they prove to me they don't deserve it and then i usually still treat them better then i ought to. i dont understand what it is about some people that makes them feel like its OK to be so horrible to other people.

Should that product require labeling stating that the chemical is used to induce skin cancer in lab animals?

How about if those lab animals were the same animals used to study skin cancer treatments?

How about it the products containing the chemical used to induce skin cancer in mice, rats and hamsters was being heavily marketed to teenagers?

HUMPH, i got this subsitute science teacher cause my other one is having a baby and she sucks. She put us in bad groups where one group has 3 boys and 1 girl and the others are 2 boys and 2 girls. I'm the 1 girl and its quite sad. the boys are all friends and innapropriate and I dont think the science teacher is gonna change us in a long time. We said she should change every month but now i am scared she is not gonna. I have science next week and im so scared. Please, i need advice. If the science teacher doesn't change, I am gonna go talk to her. Any advice on what do say and how to overcome my fears? oh please help me.

i love being outside around a fire. I have lived in the country all my life and hate to live in the town or city. I love country music and love to sing it...
I like to hunt and fish and i hate to shave my face...love to let it grow.
i live in louisiana and i am cajun and llive the cajun lifestyle...but dont listen to cajun music..jus eat the food....i lived in louisiana since i was born. I believe men should fight one on one, man to man, not gang up. I love to grow a garden and raise chickens and other livestock. I love bein outside and i hate staying indoors too long. I love ford and chevy trucks....chevys to race and fords for offroad. I love old ford tracters and love to fix things. And aint nuthin better than a good ole sauce.

I know some people that are such hoarders of money that their lack of spending sure does show. They have to be high wage earners as they both have state jobs, but their house looks like something from a third world country. Their clothing is nearly rags and their vehicles are over 10 years old.

i need to get my G.E.D and i've been studying really hard.
i studied 3 times a day for 3 weeks and i took a post test in my g.e.d book and failed it bad! 26 out of 50

when i studied i who what i was studying and i learned things and i knew the difference of things when i studied.
i studied out of the Vahn Barron G.E.D book, i don't understand why i get things right when i study, but when it comes to testing i fail misseribly.

this really hurts me because i feel like my whole future rest upon my success in my education and failing this way is not helping me. i know your going to say failing is not that bad, but to me it is because i fail all the time, i never win.

IT PISSES ME OFF BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE MY KNOLEDGE DOESN'T SHOW UP WHEN IT NEED TO!!!
but it sure shows up when i study, i wish it show up when i test.

what the heck is wrong with me?
