Not for me, it is expensive and you are trapped on an island unless you have money to fly away.
I am nearing retirement and not into beaches. I hear they have a lot of bugs because it is tropical.
Nothing to attract me I haven't even been on vacation and my brother used to live there.

I am retired already, and I live in the most beautiful state anywhere and that is Michigan. Hawaii is very expensive to live in and the customs are different. Although I would have liked to visit Hawaii when I was young, I would just as soon not do it now. The climate is far too warm for me and I am aware of many more storms in that part of the world also. It is supposed to be very beautiful because it is tropical, but it is too far away from family and friends to think of living there.
