You think your parents died maybe caused by:
1)you have experience that someone died
2)your mind is worried by the possibilty of your parents will die due to their serious illness.
3)you keep reminding the condition of your parents due to you have long time not seeing them

its only you who can answer that, but this might help ..first why dont you think about what you feel towards your parents, do you hate them or love them, and what would you feel when they are really dead? will you be happy or sad?
Probably you got this feelings because you have a hidden ill feelings inside you that you kept for a long time and not even realize that feeling is there in your subconscious, and it just pop up each time you saw their pictures.

are you saying they are alive and you look at it like they've died? if so then maybe you are missing them or feel detached and need to rekindle your relationship with them or just let them know how much you love them.
