I believe there are different levels of confidence.

I used to have confidence that was dependent on my success on everything, and people's validations when I was in my teenage years, but a few days ago, I think I had some sort of enlightenment.
I believe that I am a lucky man since I'm 20 years old and have already developed a confidence that is based on my outlook in life. I started to see through peoples insecurities, and how they are so wrapped about what other people think about them that they forgot that it doesn't ******* matter.
You're world is what you make it to be. Its amazing as to how people sitting side by side in the same room can perceive a totally different experience.
I do hope this inspires some people to be much see themselves as complete humans who can carry out an intelligent conversation without trying to be funny or cool.
Its very ******' hard nowadays to find an intelligent person with such qualities.

Thanks for the honest opinions.

Lol and yes I do like to say ******* and other curse words once in a while, in a "casual" conversation because I do believe that I don't have to bore myself by being so uptight with words.
Its like what one inspirational guru say
"Don't be yourself, be your best self." Believe it or not there is always a nasty side to every one. You have to let it out once in a while, I'm not trying to be a saint just trying to be my best self.

------------
Yes I am arrogant, and I ****** love it. Anyways some people make up for the lack of being interesting just by being critical, so I don't feel the need to explain myself to you any further.

Hahaha

To the guy above me, you completely misconstrued the quot "your world is what you make of it." It's more about your outlook determining how you handle things and what opportunities will arise...granted, environment and circumstances play into this as well.

I completley agree! You see all these people trying to act cool...and you want to just slap them...

...personaly for me as a woman, it's more that guy will tend to hit on you incessantly, and once you ignore them, they hate you...

...but I agree, if we could all just be ourselves and speak about what interests us honestly and openly without judgment of others...that would be a pretty cool dialogue.

Nice work, dude.

I have always been confident. My parents raised us to believe in ourselves and our abilities. I have done the same for my children. You are still young and I am certain that you think you have everything "figured" out. I will tell you this, the use of the word "******" really says much about one's level of intelligence. You might want to leave that word out when attempting to have an intelligent conversation. People will take you much more seriously if you do.

Man you're pretty arrogant. Got it all figured out, do you? Well the basis of my confidence is not giving much of a ****. Everyone is human and everyone messes up. Why should I feel the need to live up to any other person's standard of perfection when they don't give a **** about living up to mine?

People who say crap like 'your world is what you make of it' are pretty stupid. If I could make my world, nimrod, I would win the lottery and have a penis that vibrated. I also wouldn't have to practice to get good at things I like to do, like art. Don't give me that bs.

The only thing your little 'enlightened' soap-box episode has inspired me to do is go to sleep and forget I ever read your mess. Good night, sir.

Good for you!

I think you are far along the way to becoming truly real with yourself, and that's so important.

Each one of us is a complete human--we have to look within ourselves to find that humanity, enjoy it, spread it, have confidence in it.

I never had to have an 'aha!' moment because I've never owned a TV and had to sort through what was fake from what was real.

Good luck to you!

I'm smarter than the average bear, articulate and resourceful. On a level playing field, I can master any task and meet any challenge. On an unlevel playing field, I can do what I need to do.
