I've heard a lot of people say they don't believe in evolution because of their religion, and others say evolution disproves Christianity.
Is it really one or the other? Why?

"I won't lie to you; I'm not really blond. But hey, I'm sexy enough to be!"

Any support for my theory? Contradictions? Alternate explanations?

Note: Explanations amounting to "it's just style," "it annoys the [pa]rentz," "people like to change their hair," etc., will doubtless get 2 points, but not honestly. Those apply to fashion in general and do not explain this specific behavior.

I believe that everyone should have the right to determine what happens to there own body. It's nobody else's business what a person decides to do with their life. Why should the government stick its nose into another persons private life. Why do Christians think that they have the right to impose their moral standards on the rest of society. Everyone should have the right to decide when their life should end. Instead of making it difficult for people to commit suicide, the government should set up clinics to assist people in commiting suicide. Or perhaps they good make a pill that you could buy off the shelf. If this country really wants to be pro choice, than we have to allow people the right to choose to die.

I guess I'm guilty of always bashing whites whenever they post idiotic questions on here, but to me it's more like retaliation and truth where as most of the whites that post things about blacks are MOSTLY from hateful intentions (and are meant to be racial slurs).

I am 27 years old and have been married for 8 years. We have decided not to have children, and recently I found out that I can't have children anyways. People always ask when we're going to have children (especially at family functions) and when I say we're not because I don't want children, people give me an odd look. So I've found it easier to say that I can't have children. Why can't I just be honest without people making me feel like a Cruella Deville? Why do people find to so odd that a woman doesn't want a child?

Does anyone else hate those Visa check card commercials that show everything moving along in a checkout line smoothly with the Visa checkcard and then when someone writes a check it jams up or slows down? Do you find it personally insulting? Do you think it's encouraging us to use credit cards more?

I'm a Brit, and currently dating a girl of the same nationality. She usually refers to Americans as "Yanks", and I'm just wondering, is this a racist term? It's fairly obvious that she isn't racist towards the USA in any other way; she speaks of them as she speaks of the Brits, or any other nation. I just don't want either of us to be considered offensive. Oh, and she is also (almost unhealthily so) obsessed with the Second World War. Could this have anything to do with it? Thank you very much for your time.
