If you could have one wish, no matter how silly, big or whatever. What would it be? I would like live in the 1940's.

First off: I like your question!
You should add "You cannot wish for more wishes." People who wish for more wishes are spoiling the intensity of one wish.
I would either wish for the ability to teleport or wish for something of a more personal matter, which I am not going to explain for I could write an entire novel solely focused on that subject.
If I could teleport I would be able to
1.) Sneak out of the house and be back without my parentals noticing or the alarm going off. :D
2.) I could take a solitary vacation to a place like Hawaii or Greece or Japan. I wouldn't have to spend 8 or 12 hours on an airplane. I would be there in two tenths of a second.
3.) Visit far away friends.
4.) I think that if I were able to teleport I would also be able to take people with me. As in, if they were touching me they would share my power and that opens a whole other list of possibilities. Such as:
5.) Visiting far away friends and bringing them back.
6.) Vacationing with a best friend or two or 15.
7.) In an emergency situation I could possibly save someone's life.
I could think of so much more to do. Teleportation would be frickin awesome. :p

i want a peaceful life in a peaceful place in a peaceful world with whom that i love...
and by the way a peaceful world doesn't mean no hunger no war no sickness...i think these things are essential for man to feel grateful for what he has got.......without suffering there would be no compassion.......i just want a peaceful life

then to bring both my grandfathers to come back to life
then for happiness
then for my old dog to come back to life
then for world peace
then 5 more wishes
then to meet pete wentz
then for my friends to stop being mad at each other
then to stop world hunger
then to stop sickness
then for world happiness
