My unforgettable incident is when my family went on a bus to carmel beach and the guy left us stranded at the beach and took the old ladies who also came with us and thats not all, we had to get a ride from a cop who took us to the police station and from there he took us to the nearest car rental place and we had to pay extra and drive home to oakland which was a bummer cause we were new to the place..

a good incident - the day my hubby asked me to marry him.
a bad incident - when i found out my dad had died.
a good incident - the birth of our twins.
a bad incident - a car accident.
a good incident - the day i won $25,000 in the local lottery.
a bad incident - the night i was attacked and raped.
a good incident - our new puppy
a bad incident - our new puppy peeing on the carpet.
i could go on and on, but life is full of unforgettable incidents, and they are all memorable for different reasons.
the trick is to let go of the bad ones, and cherish the good ones!
i have starred your question as i think people's answers are quite interesting.
james, sorry to hear your childhood was so horrid. i thought i was the only one! i hope you have been able to get past at least some of the horror, i know for myself i have not been able to let go of it all! but we keep trying, right? good luck bud!

I was waiting at a bar, a place that I had been going to for most of a year, for some friends to arrive, but the waitress insisted I buy something to drink, or leave.
I got really mad and shouted for everyone to hear... "I'm a faithful customer, I've been coming here already for a year, but you treat me like this?"
My buddies and other people there who knew me all laughed and I'm sure I was very entertaining....
Then as I stepped out on the porch, the owner followed me out threatening me with a chair, but as I faced him , somebody hit me in the back of the head. Wow.
All I remember is all the scenery changing to sideways and me sprawled on the ground... Then my friends arrived to see it...

it was in college while taking my MSW, i spent one whole semester taking statistic classes which i hate to my guts. for my final, knowing that i was going to fail the test anyways, i got some drinks with my peers, got tipsy, took the test, two weeks later went to get the results and voila! i passed with b+, i started screaming on campus and security guards and everybody came running thinking i was going mad or getting rape or something. it was funny!
