I already see a partern in my daughter (14) with the boys she likes and it worries me that she may be destine to have a potentially abusive relationship when she becomes older.
She has a little boyfriend now that is a great kid, he is very concerned for her feelings and is easy to talk to, but she is thinking of breaking up with him to go back with her old boyfriend who did nothing but make her cry. He would not call nor would he come over to the house. He is 15 and I felt like he had something to hide.
Just to give you a little back ground on what kind of people my husband and I are; we have the house that all the kids hang out at and we are very active with the kids. The 2 of us are taking a group of them to a Fall Out Boy concert in April. So I don't see why he would not be will to come over and just hang out with my daughter.

The world wouldn't stop turning. It wouldn't set in motion the downfall of our nation even. It's just a piece of cloth with 13 bars and 50 stars. If I ran over it with my car or rolled up quarters in it and beat you with it what would that matter? Flags get put everywhere too, like on shopping bags and sports teams arm patches. What about when they get tattooed on a fat redneck's arm? Isn't that desecration. What if I wiped my a-- with the flag. What say you? I welcome all answers, but mostly intelligent and informed ones who can explain to me how a piece of cloth has ANY bearing over our lives.

I'm really passionate in my views on alcohol (I think it is a disgusting habit, I hate it, and I can't believe that anyone enjoys it) and I would like to find a girl that believes the same. But every girl I know drinks, whether "just" socially or in large quantities. I'm in college, and I guess my question is, "Are there any college women out there who DON'T drink"?

Would we be as advanced technolgically as we are now? Would running from giant predators make us live underground? Would all of our cities have giant thick walls around them to protect the citizens? Would we have domesticated them? Would we be eating them? Or if nature didn't wipe them out would we have taken the job and wiped them out ourselves? What do you think? I dont want to sound racist, because I in no way hate black people. It's simply an inquiry. What is with "black" names? Im not talking about african names, but names like shaniqua, Latika, Shaquana, etc. They dont even have a real meaning like most names. Are they made up or something?

I'm so self cautious of myself and i try to tell myself that i should not care, but it does not seem to work. I mean from my clothes, my hair, to my face. What I'm trying to get at is this, does it actually mean anything or is it just some hyperbolic statement, because for the fourth time since last fall I saw a car in the Albany, NY area with a bumber sticker bearing that slogan that was clearly faded. So obviously the colors can run or be corrupted. So what does it mean then? Let me know.

In the last week i have had to suffer Paul Ince squeal that black football managers are not given the oppourtunity to manage premiership teams ( Gullit, Tigana) prove him wrong. Yasmin Alliah-Brown greeting about the UK media being overwhelmingly white (well why dont you start up your own newspaper)and some racist Iranian crooked police officer who flopped at a promotion interview and then squealing how he was passed over because of his colour. Why should the average white person suffer these closet racists, i look at the societys\countries that these people or their parents came from and think that these societys are backwards because these people and their bretheren are not up to it. They cant get to the west quick enough because its not politically correct to admit it but Europeans do everything better than the Arabs or Africans, yet to admit is much and you are jumped on by the political correctness lobby.If they are such talents that they would have us believe then prove me wrong

I've been living at this place for about a month. The whole place is very clean and neat. However one thing I find very weird is the house owner doesn't really put much effort in cleaning any kitchen wares up. I often pick up a silverware or plates only to see bit piece of foods still stuck on it or pick pans up and feel greasey or bumps on bottom from foods, etc....

Other day I was in kitchen making breakfast, she came in and pull out a leftover and stir it a bit then she just run the spoon under water without any soap or even rubbing it and put it back in the drawer without checking to make sure it's completely clean first.

I'm so glad I caught the fact she's not exactly great at keeping kitchen wares clean the first day I moved in. So I clean everything before I use them and afterward.

Is it normal for a person to like their kitchen warethroughly scrubbed with soapy sponge and spotless? Or am I Just being super clean freak when it come to this?

Once every few weeks, I'll get some whole bean coffee at Whole Foods (the greenie clubhouse)

At checkout they usually ask whether I want a bag for my half pound of coffee.
Depending on my mood, I'll either:

Scowl and pompously declare "NO ADDITIONAL PACKAGING PLEASE!"

or

Ask them to double bag it.
