well its like this hun. big people think of big things. big and successful white men and women are preoccupied with the next big corporate mergers, and acquiring fortune 500 companies in their pesonal portfolios, or making partners in law firms, or trying to get a six figure income by the time they are 30. and they are preoccupied with doing things to make this happen so they dont have time for petty stuff like why a black person is getting welfare and yet has money to do their nails etc etc. white people whose mindset is not on big things but on mundane things like the business of black welfare recipients are ususally the dregs of the white society. the loosers if i may. the ones who cannot compete. the ones who have been left behind. so now they are angryyyyyyyyyyyy and they cannot take their gripe to the rich succesful white people because they live in gated communities and will sooner send their guard dogs to attack these white unsuccesful trash, if they try to mess with them. so now they are really angryyyyyyyyy, so they get behind their computers, with a can of bud, some pork scratchings, and start sending hate stuff through different medium such as yahoo answers. i just feel sorry for them because they are crying and dying inside but i try to engage them on here because i enjoy the banter

I dont mean in anyway to say you havent been judged for your color but perhaps it has,nt always been a racist thing the reason i say this is because i myself have noticed a decline i,d say in the last 10 years or so in service help. When i was growing up my dad owned several shops in which i worked after school ,anyone caught being impolite to a customer was out the door! it was customer first! and the customer was always right! You put on your nice face and act as tough that person is all that matters. Im not sure why this has changed.but im shocked at the way i,ve been treated at times.( and im white) SO i dont put up with it. i complain.I call the owner .I get on the computer and look up their web site (if they are a big store like wal-mart and i complain.when im at a store and a clerk is treating me badly I make a show of reading their name tag i say " so your name is---------? right? and you,d be surprised how fast they wake up.I also compliment the people that give me good service. and if im impressed with someone and their treatment i let the managment know. complain!

Hello,
I read this over and over again and still can't get what your saying?
Are you saying-
This is a quote? Because if so this is not right!
Or are you implying-
Anyone who works at these type of jobs are UN educated?
Because if you are this truly is not so.
Or people just say that like everyday meaning?
Meaning the more they work with the public, the more they criticize the people (Like in tired of dealing with all walks of life)
If that's what you mean -
Could be right- Some people do tend to get to worked up over their jobs when working with the public.
They are long due for a Holiday. (One would think)
But sadly some just can't take the time off. For what ever the reason -
UN less it's a nervous break down!

I hope I answered OK? I did try.

I've noticed this too. My guess is because these people have crummy, low-paying jobs, and they want to blame "the white man" for the fact that they didn't do well in school, go on to college, and make something of themselves. They'll sit back and come up with 101 reasons why they never succeeded in life, and 100 of those reasons involve shifting the blame to someone else.

You should go to Dubai, the arabs there make even white people work for them.

People with less wealth and economic opportunities often become more protective of their own kind. Thus they are more prone to being racist. In extreme conditions where their life may be at stake (ie prison) racism seems to be at its peak.
It raises the question is racism natural in certain conditions?

I'm not saying racism is a good thing, but honey, you need to accept the reality that racism will always be a part of our lives because we can't change every single person! it doesnt matter who is more or less educated.

As someone else said, if you're uneducated (though not everyone in those job positions is uneducated) you're more likely to be racist and narrowminded. But I'd also blame it on parents and grandparents who grew up with hate and end up passing it down to kids and grand children.

It's unfortunate but you're right. I've seen it and I've experienced first hand. But yes, life is definitely more than the color of one's skin!
