In the last week i have had to suffer Paul Ince squeal that black football managers are not given the oppourtunity to manage premiership teams ( Gullit, Tigana) prove him wrong. Yasmin Alliah-Brown greeting about the UK media being overwhelmingly white (well why dont you start up your own newspaper)and some racist Iranian crooked police officer who flopped at a promotion interview and then squealing how he was passed over because of his colour. Why should the average white person suffer these closet racists, i look at the societys\countries that these people or their parents came from and think that these societys are backwards because these people and their bretheren are not up to it. They cant get to the west quick enough because its not politically correct to admit it but Europeans do everything better than the Arabs or Africans, yet to admit is much and you are jumped on by the political correctness lobby. If they are such talents that they would have us believe then prove me wrong

I never fell for any of this "politically correct" crap. If you have your own opinion on ANYTHING you're labeled as politically incorrect?
And this rediculous "race card"crap that's sprung from political correctness....really angers me.
No matter what ANY minority does, if they get in trouble for it, or they don't do it well enough....they always blame others and say it's because they're a minority.
If a black man shoots someone and gets arrested he says he's being discriminated against because he's black. NO MORON, you're being arrested because you SHOT someone and it's ILLEGAL!
God, it makes me sick. They only do it because they aren't capable of taking responsibilty for their own actions, and because they know white people don't have the 'luxury" of a race excuse for everything they do. "you're only arresting me because I'm white!" lol.
Minorities think this "excuse" gives them some kind of advantage. One step up in the world.
*ok, off my soapbox*
Disclaimer...and NOT for political correctness...just to clarify...
I'm not a racist. I don't hate anyone. What I wrote only applies to those people who are guilty of actually commiting the offenses outlined. Just because you are a minority does not mean that I am talking to YOU personally. You're an individual, not just black. Or hispanic or gay..or whatever.

I think with my generation, we don't play the race card. Times are different and yet times are not "so" different. I'm not asking for a "hand out" or "freebies." I'm asking for people, regardless of your ethnicity, to treat me fairly, and justly. :) That's all I'm asking of anyone. But to answer your question more fully, I think the race card is beyond old. It causes more hate and discontent here in America. Why do people pull the race card period? Is there something wrong within the system? Makes you think doesn't it? :)

One wonders why they didn't pass laws to protect ethnic minorities during slavery. It's too late now.

In America it is a huge activity that the latino community is involved with when it comes to illegal immigration.

No, because if ethnic minorities can't play the race card, then who would?

more regulation from government?? are you out of your mind? I thought democracies were about the people legislating their own affairs.
