Do you think Simon Cowell is right and depressed stars are just being indulgent? Do you think they need to go take a look at the third world and see how good their own situation really is?

Personally I'm not too sure, on the one hand I totally agree that some are so pampered they get depressed out of sheer boredom but on the other hand I know how bad depression can get and how unreasonable your mind can become beyond your own control.

man has lost all senses, recently in china stray dogs were mercillessly killed and now the foolish people in bangalore who PLAN TO KILL THE POOR STRAY DOGS,HOW WOULD THEY FEEL IF THEIR WHOLE CITY IS SHOT OFF.............

hi friends....we are a decent moderate family (niether conservative nor altra mod) but very concious about the image of family. my elder sis is just married but my problem is she resembles so much to an indian actress that both seems twins in first look. The resemblence would't have a serious problem if the said indian artist not known by her skimpy dresses as well as "sex-symbol". Hence, I feel so much ashamed when guys talk about that actress in my presence N I feel agitated thinking they are mocking me. Just wanna know how to tackle with this situation?

They have to much time as it is to do anything they want so why not go to school and then worry about having fun later when your schooling is done ,your brake is not a brake for us ,meaning mom and dad.

Why should I pay tax for some junkie to blow his dole cheque on drugs? the same goes for alchoholic bludgers who would rather drink than pay their own way. It's bad enough that my taxes help pay for a politicians every desire, why should they give money to addicts who don't want to earn it the honest way?

Only answer if you give violations to people.......Why do you feel the need to report people just because you are slighty offended? That person may well have thought long and hard about their answer and put across a valid point. Surely everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

I think sterilisation is an overdue solution to third world poverty. If just a fraction of foreign aid money went toward vasectomy procedures for men then maybe they would stop having children they can't feed. Rather than giving out school uniforms & bibles how about some contraception advice? What is the point of trying to save people from poverty when they just make the problem bigger every day?

i have been looking at this site for 10 minutes and i cannot believe some of the things that i am reading that people ask, first why are you asking the people, none of these sources are reliable, youd be better off just searching it on the web itself. i feel like i am the only person who actually knows what is going on, does anyone else here feel like i do? i mean honestly this site is like something you come to to waste your time, to just sit at for hours and answer these stupid questions that make no sense!!!

I have a friend who is pro-choice, not just in the case of rapes etc but basically as a form of birth control, just because you didn't use protection and don't want to be pregnant. The same girl is actively involved in organizing events to make people aware of the cruelty of using animals for food and clothing.

I'm not in any way trying to change her views, but I just wondered if this struck anyone else as odd...that some people see an animal's life as too valuable to kill but a human life not. The point of her vegetarianism is to make the statement that "animal life is as important as human life," she says, but isn't the statement more like, "animal life is more important than human life," if it's okay to abort babies but not eat chickens or eggs? I know some people feel that a fetus isn't a "person" yet, but it's undeniably human (can't be described as any other species!).

My grandfather served in WW2, and his father in WW1 before him. They were both very British, very gentlemanly and what would now be considered very archaic in their ways.

Both of them held until their dying days that it was war which shaped them in to 'real' men (in the sense of chivalry, not machismo), and that the youth of today were growing anti-social and lazy because they weren't sent off to fight or do national service for a couple of years after leaving school.

I know they both saw conflict in the wars, my Great Grandfather was sunk more times than I care to remember and my Grandfather was a machine-gunner on a tank, so it's not exactly as if they came through the wars without a scratch, yet they still held these views after seeing so much terror and misery.

What is your opinion?

Why is there still so much racism in America? Has there been any progress made over the years. I cannot believe the statements of so many on yahoo questions and answers. I am a Canadian and we have a much lower crime rate and acceptance of cultures and try to live at peace. I do not understand why in the USA there is so much hatred.
