And what is the worst thing about the town you live in......

I love the town I live in. The people here are very community minded. But sadly because of infill housing our town is becoming over crowded, crime has risen, and we are slowly watching our town turning into a ghetto.

The National Abortion Federation (NAF) is calling on Americans to recognize March 10 as a National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers.

Millions of women--and unborn children--have little to be thankful for.

You always here about bad websites, yet supermodels posing almost completely naked, oiled, lotioned, at their sexiest prime, boldly representing ads on tv.

I admit, it does make me angry sometimes, because there is no way to change the TV channel fast enough to avoid it all completely, & you can't be with a kid 100% of the time.

Shouldn't there be a law against models stripping on regular TV, baring all before the audience, whether adult or kids?

Are these models sick enough to be turned on by the thought kids may be watching?

Should they be allowed to continue to devalue & demoralize our innocent children's minds?

I have many friends, who, as kids, were exposed to this trash by way of TV & it got them hooked trying to download them on the web.

This is obviously damaging to our kids. Do we not care to stop them?

Models seemingly have no concern over being an example, but instead in being as racy as they can, for kids & adults alike?

This isn't right, is it?

Anyone else upset?

I don't actually believe it, but after the Shilpa Shetty issue there was a hue and cry about racism in UK. I'm not talking about Indians only but also to other asians and blacks. Newspapers were giving reports about non-whites being tortured and teased. They said that non-white students were beaten up whites in colleges, etc, etc. And the new immigration laws seem to confirm that.

Is UK really intolerent?

Don't blow up if your british. I'm only telling what I read in the news

I posted a question to gather feedback on something I wanted other's opinions on. A rude member posted something that had nothing to do with my question but rather appeared only for the sake of insulting me personally, so I reported them for it. Yahoo's response to that was to give *me* a violation for abuse and delete my question. Unbelievable!

So to answer my own question... Yes. They are.

In modern society there seems to be much talk about people's rights, but little seems to be said about the responsibilities that should go with those rights. Is this a problem that should be addressed?

Examples
The right to sue over minor injuries seems to ignore the responsibility to take care and look where you are going.

In schools, a pupil's right to not be "abused" takes precident over their responsibility to behave, and so teachers cannot restrain aggressive pupils.

I was at the supermarket and as I passed by some people, one said absent mindedly "oh, I need carrots".

Sometimes it'orange juice, or batteries. Why batteries?

Do people with blonde or dark hair experience something similar ? I wonder.

P.S. It's Friday ... :-)
