I just want to gauge Africa's internet connectability and Im just using Yahoo! as my tool.

Ok -you DO realise that not only are there the white remnants of the colonisation era living on the African continent but also that us black Africans are slowly being colonised by the new "White Africans" who call themselves expats? Why do you think they're here? They can chat to the people they've left behind via Internet and simultaneously enjoy the perfect life. If you get into contact with any of them -please tell them to go home?
In the meantime, FYI, there is Internet connectivity in virtually every city in Africa AND there's wireless connection available too. Satisfied?
