Can you think of ways to give back to your community??

WHAT are ways you have made this earth a better place to live ?

Our self family give back to the community in many ways.
We have taught our 4 year old to save and collect every bottle we have, find or see. She puts them in big plastic tubs we have and every 2 months we cash them in.
She is given the money and She her self puts in to money Kettles, or buy food, then put in to food drops.
(You should see the smile she gets on her face each time she does this- Knowing she has helped a person out)
We give all clothing to people we see or know that are in need.
Christmas time we help 8 families out, with our little one picking 2 girl, 2 boy tags off a tree to buy gifts for.
At my gym club we do food drives.
Give Blankets, coats, mitts- to homeless.
Even have given money to just someone in need. Tell them to give same to other in deed.
Now since our little one is in Pre school she does shoe box,
supplies to other country in need.
We also help other charities along the way- (cancer, fireman's, police and even 911 relief fund sent up in Canada)

We do believe Charity does start at home though and teach it to our little one- That it is better to give then receive without cause and only cost a smile.

by being the example you want to portray.being giving,and compassionate and sensitive and kind and loving to others.I even try to give on this site or on the street with a kind gesture or word or by simply opening the door for someone or by giving of my time in some way.

donate food to your local food shelf or food drive. Even giving a few cans of food or a few boxes of cereal will help someone who needs them.

To become that master of your universe. Develop your skills and gifts so you can go out and be productive.

I am still trying to get my fair share of what the Republicans have been taking from me over the last 60 years!!!!!!!!
