There are far more deserving black leaders both past and present and the media seems to squish the VAST reservoir of negative things this man did.

O.J. Simpson's trial was broadcast on national T.V. Many of TV networks televised the verdict of "Not Guilty." These TV networks also filmed the reaction of several black communities as the verdict was read. The vast majority were cheering and jumping up for joy - literally. My question is were the black communities cheering because they thought O.J. Simpson was innocent or were they cheering because they thought a black man could not get a fair trial in United States? After the Rodney King incident, it was clear that the L.A. Police had a serious problem with racism within their ranks. It is understandable that the black community had little faith in the fairness of the L.A. justice system.

My husband and I disagree.

I say everyone knows his license plate number by heart, and he says virtually no one does.

So, could you recite your license plate number without peeking, or looking it up?

I don't particularly enjoy being distrustful of all humanity but everyone I meet confirms my suspicions (and I've been around).

How do I know that loving people even exist or are they just made up stories to make people want to preserve the race? If they do exist, where can I find them? Are they all dead?

At what age does a person start to be hated unconditionally by society? Is it 15, 18, 21, 40? Which?

In some cases people are hated unconditionally from before the day they are born but at what age does the hate reach a climax?

i personally dislike the idea of marriage and that's because i don't believe love could ever be defined. there are so many meanings! be it passion, a deep friendship, a game, logic..etc. so many people have their own opinions and fall in love for differant reasons. a contract simply means you are commited to your partner untill you break the contract. and that's when you go to court. in my opinion marriage is only the government's way to track you down and this commitment (contract) we're talking about seems more like a trap. why can't lovers live happily ever after without a binding contract? +if anything goes wrong without this thing, you can just split your earnings and walk away. +if you want your lover's earnings, you can always write a will. besides, gays can't get married in most countries, one is not allowed to have more than one lover, sometimes two ethnic groups are not allowed to be married..so why not just live together?

We have had many great figures in our history and none of them get the hype that MLK does. Doesn't that defy common sense to make a bigger deal out of him than he really deserves.

A couple of teenagers bring guns into school and kill their schoolmates and teachers:
-We blame violent cartoons and video games.

* An old lady kills her cat while trying to dry it in the microwave.
-The microwave manufacturer has to pay for the damage...

*A burglar gets hurt while trying to rob a house and files a complaint against the house owner:
-He wins.

*TV shows beep words like "penis", "a$S"(A$S is not even allowed in yahoo answers- they transform it into ***)
-Oh please think of the children!!

* A few bombs are sent by mistake to wrong civilian targets killings dozens of innocent people in Iraq:
-We call it "Collateral damage"

* Missiles shoot a to UK helicopter by mistake, killing all its occupants.
- We call it "Friendly fire".

*Did you see the burglar?
- Yes, he was white and had a blue jacket. (Good)
- Yes, he was black and had a blue jacket (bad)

In your opinion, are we getting over the top on Political Correctness

I have a history of being a victim of bullying ect, so maybe it's just paranoia, but I can't seem to find people other than teachers who like me!! Teachers and parents like me from the minute they meet me but no one else can respect me. Apart from English, my grades are only mediocre. I'm no rebel but I like to have fun. My friends love me and say I'm loyal and trustworthy. I'm a teensy bit bossy but I'm very attractive what's wrong with me??!

Sometimes I feel embarrassed to be British because so many of my fellow country men are idiots, racists, bigots, sexist and quite frankly horrible. they have little understanding of the world around them or how to conduct themselves in public. They go abroad to 'watch' football and end kicking the sh!t out of some poor sod.

I am in my mid 20's i live in London and that automatically gives people a false impression of who i may be because of stereotypes and i hate this.

Does anyone have any similar feelings or experiences?

I am in an interacial relationship with my partner and we have a little boy. England is great for interracial relationships and we get nmo trouble. The only thing is that this country is getting too expensive, loads of crime, poor weather, etc.

Are there any other countries where people won't judge you or abuse you. I heard Canada was a very liberal country for example.

Thanks
