I haven't participated around here very long, but I have noticed that there seems to be an extraordinary amount of questions that deal with race and racial issues. I have also noticed that even the ones which seem to call for an end to racism are worded specifically to incite the very thing that on the surface it denounces. Do you think that all questions concerning racial divide actually promote that division, or do you feel the conversations and comments that result are changing peoples views and fostering healing?

For the last 7 years i am watching my country fall deeper and deeper. We grow week. Our ancient artifacts are stolen. Also traditional foods and dances now arent greek anymore. They also GIVE GREEK NAMES TO THEIR COUNTRIES.They stole our history and try to take some glory of the greeks and make for their nations some points to live and fight.Someone said before some time that"""The Greek nation is dificult to be occupied and guide because of their free existance and beliefs.Such a big history for such a small country.I sugest to "bombard" their history and common beliefs and 'blnd' them by destroying everything that holds them together.By this way we will be able to conquer them and quide them well.
What do u think about that?I think that they have already started their plan. They want our kids to be copletely confused.

A nation without history is a nation without present..............

There is so much evidence in the world to support it and only somebody who is rather ignorant after seeing this proof could possibly deny it.

Can't you just accept it and move on? It would be a good way to end all this pointless arguing which doesn't win you any supporters or followers.

I read a news story about an 8 yr. old girl who had been raped and abused and put in chains and after a week when her attacker left the car for a moment she got the key and unlocked herself and ran for help, while you have Elizabeth Smart, 12 yrs. old, who timidly stayed with her kidnappers even out in public.

i am morbidly obese myself and was wondering what society in general thinks about it. Do you think it's disgusting, or that we're fat and lazy or would you think about the reasons behind the weight? Or maybe you would feel differently. Enlighten me.

To be a liberal you must:

1. "Feel", but never think.
2. Convince yourself that it is okay to suck a baby into a sink and rip it to shreds.
3. Be afraid to stand up to the bullies in the world.
4. Be more afraid of a gun in the hand of an honest citizen than in the hand of the government.
5. Put a higher value on non-human life than human life.
6. Support "womb-to-the-tomb" government control over your life.
7. Believe that blacks and Hispanics are too stupid to succeed in life all on their own.
8. That all Christians, especially southern white men, are racist, bigoted, homophobes.

We need to do a paper every week on some subject going on around the world. This week its, "Should more troops be sent into Iraq." To "develop" our paper writing skills, the teachers have us write a paper where we need to look at both sides of the issue. We can't just say no and write all the reasons why. We need to say no, explain, then say why some people say yes to the issue, and so forth.

I want to make a point that we are pumping billions of dollars into the war when the money can be better served somewhere else. What countries (other than Darfur) have it really bad and really need our help?
