As a TABOO topic for a hetrosexual alpha male.. I have been exploring the world of homosexuality lately.. trying to understand it.. after all.. when I was growing up.. it didn't exist at all.. wasn't publicly acceptable.. and I think illegal too.. I even remember one of the first Mardi Gras.. complete with around 100 marchers.. holding limp hand drawn banners.. rattling buckets of silver.. I remember following the parade.. with others.. laughing and mocking as we went along..
Now it's suddenly everywhere.. Mardi Gras parades draw millions and the entire party scene is dominated by gays.. even at junior schools they're reading gay books to young children.. to me this seems wrong..
Alas.. you pose an interesting question.. one I havn't really given thought to.. but have actually noted.. that YES a larger proportion of gay men.. than the natural survey of all men.. seem to have somewhat of a lisp or whisper twitch to their speech..
Might have something to do with the design of the brain.. and how it reacts to being in a state of constant stimulation/gratification.. I've STRONGLY summised that homosexuals live with a much much greater sense of stimulation and gratification.. especially sexual.. than straight hetrosexual people.. i think this is true both or gay men and lesbians alike..
It is very very different to the usual alpha male these days who often finds himself fighting for weekly let alone daily gratification from his hetrosexual partner.. this is despite the constant media representation that the male studs who treat women poorly are rampant.. this is a lie.. most men I know these days treat their partners with total respect.. and don't enjoy a regular stable sex life..
Also.. drugs in a hetrosexual relationship are usually outlawed for example.. whereas in the gay community.. drugs play a part in the gratification process in many instances and the dance party scene is cetral to this community..
So I think the lisp gay men seem to unusually adopt relates to the brain functions when under this constant state of unatural gratification and unnatural stimulation.. seems yet again.. nature does it's job.. coz when you hear a man who thpeaks like thith.. and thinkth that everything is lovely and thplendid.. then you know odds on he is a homo..

They DON'T.
You need to learn the difference between a LISP and a Sibilant "S."
A LISP is when you pronounce an "s or z" as "Th."
A Sibilant S is like sssnake.
What YOUR talking of is the sibilint S. When words are prounounced with long s's. Please LEARN so you do not look so IGNORANT next time.

I know what you mean.
It's the men trying to sound more feminine that causes them to lisp a bit.

HI,
LOL! Funny and it is true I was a hair dresser in San Francisco and some did, I think they may think it is feminine or they get more attention but most of the time it is a put on
