Can anyone translate that to English? The translators I've use come up with nonsensical crap, however, I think it's either Portuguese or Spanish for "Enter With Caution".

How easily understood is Slovak by a Czech, I hear the two are fairly mutually intelligible, how much so? Is the difference like American and British English? Or more like the difference between Spanish and Portuguese?

I took German in high school, and found it pretty easy to learn.

Knowing how common it is to run into someone who speaks German, but not English... (I've only met one...)

Knowing how common it is to run into someone who speaks Spanish, but not English... (I have no idea how many I've met- lots!)

Any good places to look for cheap reliable Spanish classes in Colorado?

If a child had, for example, a Dutch mother and a French father, could he/she learn to speak both languages as easily as just one simply by the parents interacting with the child in both languages from birth? Also taking into account that an even split of both languages would be spoken by other members of family, friends etc as the child is growing up.

I've searched quite a bit and all I can find is Primum non nocere, which is First, do no harm, but I was looking for the Latin for "to help, or at least to do no harm" which should be somewhere in Epidemics, Bk. 1, but I don't know Latin at all so I can't pick it out. Thanks.
