what does this russian word mean "Yedinstveniy"..?

It means "the only one" and it is aimed at a male. "Yedinstvennaya" would also mean "my only one" and it would be aimed at a female.

It means:
1). unique, sole
2). one and only
3). In science and mathematics it often means
"singular". I've seen this usage quite often
in mathematical papers.
