I usually shop at supermarkets because I have a better choice there, but if I don't have much time, I go to smaller shops near my home. My favourite sumermarket is _________ but I often shop at ________.

When I buy clothes I not always buy what's fashionable at the moment, but I rather buy what I like. I always wear jeans, t shirts and jumpers. I never wear what's uncomfortable.

My favorite cuisine is Italian, I love pizza, well prepared spaghetti and some fish dishes. I like their desserts and sweets as well. I'm not a fussy eater but I don't eat mushrooms and onions. Also hot and spicy Mexican dishes are among my favorite although I don't eat them often.

My hometown is not big, with about 120 000 inhabitants. It's more quiet than the city I'm living in right now. I come back to my hometown once or twice a month. My hometown friends are now studying in other cities.

The district I'm living in is near my college and it takes me about 10 minutes to get there. Traffic there is quite heavy but it doesn't take much time to reach the center of the city.

I'm renting an apartment nearby my college. It's quite small, but since I'm living alone it's fine. I usually leave for college at 9AM and come back at about 3PM or 4PM. Most of my time I spend working on the computer. I don't have many friends who come over.

The research examines the innovative ideology of Dr. Heikle generally, as well as his approach to a number of controversial issues specifically. Some of these issues are: his attitude towards the modern Egyptian culture at that time, the relationship between the east and the west, and his call for innovation. It is to be noted that choosing this topic assures that this research is trying to accentuate the cognitive brilliance of this man with the rich legacy and credit of achievements that led him to be immortalized as one of the leaders and intellectual pioneers of Egypt.

Please take a look at my other questions too.

A summary of a thesis submitted to obtain a Master’s degree
Examining Dr. Heikle’s ideology and its tributaries in both the Islamic and western civilizations
Research area:
Many researchers have examined the ideology of Dr. Mohammed Hassan Heikle (1888-1956). They have studied various aspects of it, especially his literary and intellectual legacy. However, there are a number of unanalyzed facets of his personality, as well as a multitude of tributaries that need more effort from the researchers. Hence, we can understand the need for someone to systematically excavate these neglected areas of his cognitive creation, such as his innovative vision of the modern Egyptian culture, and the Islamic field in which he excelled.

Hello everyone,

I work in a hotel and with the English smoking ban coming in on 1st July, I need to get signs put up around the place informing people of the legislation. Most of our foreign guests are Norwegian or Russian, so they are the 2 main languages, however German would be useful too. I already speak French & Spanish so they won't be a problem.

So any chance someone could translate the following into Russian/Norwegian/German for me please?

1) From 1st July 2007, it will be illegal to smoke in this hotel.

2) Smoking is prohibited in all parts of the hotel.

3) No smoking.

If there are any similar phrases you can suggest, feel free.

Thanks in advance! Spaciba, tak, danke. :o)

it's not homework, i'm getting old at 29. it's just simple phrases but i don't trust those free websites because when you put the translation backwards, i.e. back into english, they make no sense.

and don't bother leaving abuse, because it won't be worth it.
