This is the name of an opera by Richard Wagner. It is pronounced "Dee Valkoori". In German, the latter is pronounced in combos of "I" an "E", so we have "ie'="ee" and "ei" is just "i". "W" = "V", and "V" = "F". Volkswagen is Folksvagen.

Dee VAL-koor. The first opera of Richard Wagner's Ring cycle, and a marvelous piece of music.

Well, it's German.
"Die" means "the" (but feminin, as in german they have masculin feminin and neuter) and is pronaounced "dee".
"Walküre" means "Valkyrie" (is a mythological germanic figure) and is pronounced this way (for the explanation I need to cut the word in syllables):
"Wal" = "Vaal"
"kü" = "k" and a vowel between u and e sounds a bit like the "ou" in "you" (if you pronounce it the British way)
"re" = "r" and the "e" in "the"

I surely requires some practice and is hard to explain the written way ;)

...so good luck;)
