it's not homework, i'm getting old at 29. it's just simple phrases but i don't trust those free websites because when you put the translation backwards, i.e. back into english, they make no sense.
and don't bother leaving abuse, because it won't be worth it.

Way back when you were probably not even a twinkle in your parents' eye, Naom Chomsky tried, 'The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.' He used a computer to translate it into Russian and then back into English. It came back, 'The vodka's OK, but the meat's a bit off.'
Computer translations don't look at context and are therefore not to be trusted.
What would you think 'abbreviated conclusion' means. I came across this when proof reading a translation from German to English. The document was about electrical installations. I consulted the German original and guess what? The German was 'Kurzschluss' - possibly short end. It actually means 'short circuit.'
