I have a buddy who is in her fifties who swears that people used to say it all the time. I've searched for it all over the internet with no luck. This is my last resort.

us staff so we can help them better. Would like a native speaker of Italian, German, French and Spanish to go over my translations to check if they are OK. I used dictionary.com so bound to be some chunky translations.

thanks

I want to become fluent in Spanish; right now I'm at about level 5, so I'm rather advanced. However, I want to read some relatively easy-read books in Spanish, and I want to read a GOOD book so I'll actually read it. I'm 22 years old, so I don't want to read children's or teen books. Any suggestions?

can someone explain??? thank you so much in advance

I can get kind of bored or overloaded when immersed in a language. I kind of like switching from Korean to Japanese to Chinese to Portuguese. I think I can keep things straight in my head but maybe I'm fooling myself.

My 4 y.o. son and I are learning Mandarin through Rosetta Stone, but we are practicing Traditional writing and calligraphy. Is this a waste of time?
I understand that through learning traditional, I can eventually learn Simplified. I'm not sure when we will ever get to China and there are no local Chinatowns near us, so still not sure if I should learn to speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Most of the books and resources seem to be in Simplified from catalogs and websites.
I just want to know the best way to go about learning Chinese without wasting time, money and effort.
Thanks in advance!
